BIO TIME

Mist was born a normal Snow Leopard, did normal big cat things. Ate, slept, hunted, and cared for her cub.
But then one day she died, and her soul went up, reached out, and fell back.

She was devastated. She wanted to move on, how could she be pulled away from such happiness, only paws away. All of a sudden someone called out to her, whispering the secrets of life in her ear, telling her she was there for greater things.
She asked why and they told her that she had energy inside her that they needed to protect the land, and she agreed.

She was sent back to the land of the living, but in a different form. She took on the name Mist.

years and years and years past

Mist had learned the human language, learned to keep hidden and completely disappear into a cloud of nothing. She learned to look into the unconscious mind and see into their past, present, and future. She had learned many things.

Then one night, a foggy night out in the white forest she heard a sound. She looked and found an elf, bleeding and unconscious. She peered into his mind and saw that his name was Scael, (you can learn more about him here [link] ) and he was part of the royal guard in his kingdom. Kidnapped, drugged, escaped, running for his life before it all went black.

She looked into his future, and different time lines. The strongest was that of 100 years into the future and a war was brewing over the end of slavery. This had happiness and sorrow and pain.

Mist knew what she had to do, but first she had to help him get away from Ybel, a creature haunting the woods, killing any living thing who entered. Mist took Scael's body away and hid it, and in doing so, took his memories from him, everything except his name and how to speak.

He woke the next morning and he did not seem scared of her. Without his memories, how could he?

Mist, throughout these times, taught Scael everything he needed to know about survival and creatures and everything, for she was older, older than her companion, and knew many things.
