hey bro i found out what a contribitor is!!!! your buddy cargirl showed me this in a journal!!
A contributor is someone who contributes to the group on a regular and large scale basis. Contributing can be through critiques, suggestions for overall group improvement, submitting art (and even blog entries) or little ways of your own inventing. If a member is doing these things on a regular basis, chances are said member will be promoted to the position of contributor.
If a member is doing the above, his or her icon will appear in the active members box (look to your right and down to see the active members box). I, as founder, will also survey the gallery to see who has submitted the most art pieces and who has been critiquing the most on submitted artwork.
How to become a contributor? Just give quality comments and submit art continually. Share ideas for the group if and when you get any. Eventually you may find yourself promoted.
Please keep in the mind that the Contributor promotion can only be achieved with hard work and dedication - as described above. Watching me (the founder), giving me points etc will not get you promoted.
Note: The position of contributor is not permanent. If a contributor becomes inactive for an extended period without a good reason, he or she will be demoted back to member status.
