Description
My old dream about learning 3D have returned!I'm very pleased about overall result, but it's still needs a revision. I like the way her hair has rendered and her legs and face came out very realistic. But there are a lot of things that I don't like! Such as her handgun... I think I made it very smooth and shiny...not what I've expected! Her right leg is flying in the air...
In short, guys, I need help! If you know how to do that or you have any good tutorials, I will appreciate if you share it with me!
Posed in: XNALara Posing Studio
Rendered in: Cinema 4D

I use cinema4d, but. I dont understand what you mean "all bump in one map"
its easier to have 1 bump map per item.
i would have (for that image), 1 for each of these; Limbs, Torso, Head, Hair, Shoes, Shorts, Top, Gun, Belt, gloves, backpack..etc.
that way you have more control over how strong each bump map should be per item.
for clothes i tend to have bump up high. so it gives the look of cotton for example.

You know, I use models extracted from the games. They have one general bump map that shows some seams and folds or other details of clothes, and they have one or two bump maps of the whole cloth texture. Besides, it has mask that shows where exactly that texture must be. And I had asked how to use all that masks and bumps in one material. Huh... sorry for my english... it's not perfect.

you use stuff like XNALara. I used to use it almost a couple years ago.
i've never seen an all in one bump map before though.
here is an example bump from a character called Saida by P3D: i39.tinypic.com/2nvdoo2.jpg
its just as face. so your models dont have individual bumps? that would be too confusing for me to work with.

ohh i get it now.
you have 1 MAIN bump per item (like i meant) but then you also have textures bumps as well.

Молодец, очень круто сделала!
У меня вообще ни в одной программе подобного рода не получается ничего сварганить... А всё дело в нестандартном месте произрастания рук Ждем новых работ

Thanks!
And about the bump-maps. I recently found the solution, you have to use the projector shader and (based on the red/green maps) use two textures (one for each bump-map). All of this using Layers. Is easier than it sounds I will create a proper tutorial soon with an example file ^^
