i guess this is a disney-pixar-anime-miyazaki-inspired-picture.. i've been experimenting with this anime-cartoony styleviewer's interpretation~

To me it almost looks like he's pushing her into the canvas instead of pulling her out....i love how this can be interpreted so many ways xD

And I mainly was thinking that because her expression seems almost like she's pained or in distress and she's wrapping her arms around his neck in attempt to keep herself from going in, and his left hand almost looks like he's pushing instead of pulling her out. Gives it almost a kind of creepy/morbid tone if you look at it that way xD;
But anyway, like I said, great work. <3

This is a beautiful piece. I'm more of a writer than an artist but I can see so many wonderful stories in this image. The one that stands out the most is a lonely painter who draws a lonely girl. Each piece in the girl's development hangs everywhere; on the walls, the shelves, the boxes... Finally, one morning, he paints the girl and she comes to life off the canvas and the two share a loving embrace, never to feel alone again.
