I love Blackjack. Been rereading FoE
The controversial 'Chapter 33' has a scene that is... well, very hard to deal with for some. I can't say it bothered me, but I'm honestly the odd one out in this case. Just be aware that it was not done 'because the author could' but because it's important for character development.
Second, and this is more my personal opinion, Chapter 71 right at the end is when the story starts to go downhill. Oh the action ramps up, the steaks have never been higher and the consequences for failure have never been more disastrous. But... well, let's just say MANY tears are shed between there and the end.

Horizons is a long read, a really long read.Β
I started reading it June 6th of last year, and finished it in November, reading about a chapter a day, give or take.Β

But I had my final exams etc. sooo 030
But it was really good cure for times when I was really depressed xD

Ironic, because I started reading the original when I was depressed. And before I read it I wasn't even a big fallout person at all.Β
Now I have 2 Fallout Plushies, Several of the printed books, and I have someone making me some figures as well. Not to mention spending way too much time in Fallout 4 and anxiously awaiting Fallout 76.Β
I started Project Horizons on a flight to Las Vegas, and since then I listened to the audiobooks made by Visual Pony till the end of December IIRC. It's just so captivating of a story.

Well, I've started reading... IDK 5 years ago?
But it was a polish translation and had around 20 chapters done.
After I finished reading FoE in polish I started reading PH also in polish.
I was SO bad with english back then so there was no way I could read the original story.
Because of this fanfic I got some interest in original Fallout game, but I couldn't play it. I'm so scared of such games xD
But now I do play sometimes and I'm so into this universum.
