Description Warning: Before you jump at my throat, hear what I have to say!
I'm just poking fun at those extremists that live in my place who think that a small drop of temperature equals to the coming of a winter that will make the ice age look like a walk in the park. Every single year they scream "It will be the coldest winter of the century!!!!" as soon as the first cool winds begin to blow. Needless to say, after so many years of this thing being screamed from any news channel/station/meteorogical website from my country, I got a bit tired of it... C'mon, is an extra drop of rain or the actual sight of a snowflake so scary to you? We can survive summers with death counts, for sanity's sake! Humanity survived actual ice ages without the aid of centralized heating systems and much worse. Sending people into panic won't make anything better (except for certain people, but that's another story.).

So here's explained this rather bad comic, Hiryu and Kaori aren't even of legal age yet and saw enough horrors that would make most people shudder in fear, no wonders if they see a not so usual sight, like an iceberg in a place where at the max you get heavy snowfalls and a ice layer over waters, they tend to consider more "normal" reasons, and by normal for them is either some scientist on a lab ship doing some weird research of even some giant random underwater creature at work, like a dragon, the kraken, a ningen... you pick your choice!

I admit Kaori's last quote sounded much funnier when I first imagined it, but it was extremely late at night and I was almost asleep and already tired of the usual scaredy guy yelling about how we were going to freeze to death this year yet again... and people wonder why everyone is becoming sceptikal nowdays!

Nothing much to say, except that making the kids' hands was a freaking nightmare! I swear I will be extremely careful next time I'll end up dealing with these poses!...And I will plan everything more carefully. And if things will get bad like the news say, I won't let panic get a grip on me, but I'll just organize myself, like I always did whenever something weird or possibly dangerous happened.

Stuff used: Base on paper, color and inking on PS.

Art and characters are (c) by me, lskaori.

Thanks! Yeah... any chance of weather scares them, or makes them have the urge of scare the others.

Welcome! Thats typical! And what do they get by doing that? An angry mob!

Sadly here they don't get angry, but they panic over a danger that isn't there. You know who only gets damaged when bad weather strike? Those who build illegal homes in place where they shouldn't be built!

Maybe they should build better homes somewhere else?

They should, but they don't because "This place is prettier!"

And they even complain if they build their houses too close to the river and when the "water bombs" strike they get flooded...

It's what everyone says, but since they lost their home, we have to help them as well.

Not exactly when you consider they will NEVER pay their debt back, the goverment basically takes our money away to give it to them.

Well, I guess you could say it's just the tip of the iceberg! *badum dish!*

I love their faces on the last panel. Kaori's lopsided ear is so cute ^v^

Yeah, and they will keep saying that until next spring, then they'll switch to the hottest summer of the century.

Ehe, thanks! She's supposed to do that everytime she's suspicious of something, but I never had the chance to show it properly.

Yeah, if they manage to get their hands on that iceberg they could use it for some shaved ice snacks.
