I want to add it to as a small side story of a comic I have been trying to work on. lol

They are two of many working in a top secret project involving dimensional shifting.  He heads up the security, and she is the brains behind the research. 

It's a time of industrial war and the demise of life as they know it.  The lab complex that they work and live in is well hidden from all prying eyes, friendly or others.

They have worked side by side for years, but still they remain isolated, alone.  They have longed for each other for what seems to be a eternity, yet they have never acted on their feelings.  She was afraid he would reject her, and he knows the company would use their relationship to force him to do some "necessary missions".

The Yamata corporation finally infiltrated the lab, and was able to sabotage "the device".  Even though she was wounded Kim Sumie (she) was able to contain the effects to a local area.  Simon Price (he) survived the initial attack, and without any though for his own life, he ran to Kim.  He could not let her go without saying how he felt, and any cost....
