Description
I finally got out the image in my head. It's is so much harder now when you are confined to using 3D models. There is so much more freedom when I was able to paint or draw what I was thinking. Still I won't complain, I am just happy to be able to create again. There is a story to go with this picture, it came to me in a dream one morning. I will write the full story here one day, but for now...
He once was one of the most feared gunslingers, who was brought down by the love of a woman. He had never felt anything like this before, it was true love. He renounced his previous life and took god into his heart. In time he became a preacher, and a beloved pillar of his community.
Until one day his past caught up to him.
They didn't just want to kill him they wanted to make him suffer. So one dark night they waited for him to leave his home. They spent hours with his wife leaving her hanging barely alive for him to find.
She pass not long after he had found her. He was torn between his god, his guilt, and his rage. They had done what they had set out to do, he was broken.
He renounced his god, and drew up his iron. His old ways came back to him fast, and it was only two days before he had found and slaughtered all who stood before him and vengeance.
He returned to her grave, and knelt down beside it. Broken and alone the only thing he ever loved was buried below him. He had no reason to go on, so he just laid down beside her and never left.
He still watches over her grave...

Story reminds me a bit of the Saint of Killers. An Ennis fan, by any chance?

You... could say that.
Preacher (Wikipedia)
Not for everyone - not by a long shot - but there are those of us who consider it a classic. Probably one of the strongest arguments comics have produced for being classed as true literature.
