Description
This is my very first Tutorial post i ever did, so be gentle please.I did it with this one, because i had a few people ask me how i work, since it basically goes from sketch to boom! final piece.
I hope it helps some of you.

cool tutorial! You do realize tho you don't have to have a layer for eeevery snowflake, right? LOL! Oh Lyne and her love of layers!

lol....yeah! kinda looks that way doesn't it. yeah! when is started to color this thing almost 3 years ago, i had SOoooooo many layers, and now i work with so little layers. i don't even know how many layers i actually put in there, but i think it might be over 100 at least.
thankfully, i didn't do the layer for every snowflake....OMG O.O i just tought about it and scared myself.lol

Nice tut. You work in a logical way but still maintain the artistic freedom. The piece is developing nicely.

thanks, i'll remember that in the future. btw, i did that tutorial after i was done the picture.
it's hard sometimes to see what others will see in the colors depending on the brightness on someone's screen. especially when mine might be just slightly darker than most since i work a lot on the computer and bright screens strain my eyes

My only suggestion would be to mute the snow a bit, as it stands out fairly bright. Mix a few subtle greys through it in places and you will have a terrific picture.
