Description
I'm really hoping someone can offer me some advice on how I could do this shot better... The scenario is shotting through a wrought iron door with a class backing, the stained class is at the other end of the mosoleum, and the building to the right is reflected in the glass from the door... Used a circ. polarizer to cut down on the glare from the door.Any advice on how to approach this sort of shot would be appreciated (or even just that the shot is nearly impossible to make)

maybe you can take a double exposure, one of the reflected building in focus, and one of the glass in focus. then merge them. one other idea would be to have a very low F number. something like 22.0 or something like that to make them both appear to be in focus.
one thing's for sure, you need to take off that stupid black part of the gate in the very near foreground.. ruining the bottom right part of this shot

Hey! Thanks for the advice. I'm wondering if trying this shot with a tripod might work. It'd be awkward (shooting from a flight of stairs), but it would allow a larger DOF (to hopefully get everything in focus). Unfortunately I don't yet have the photoshop skills to blend expoures.
Not sure if there's a way to avoid the damn door (the thing in the foreground). I re-cropped the photo and changed it around a bit, let me know if you think it's better or worse.
