Thanks! I'm pretty sure this was the first fluke I had in Apophysis that I was about to throw out before going "Wait a minute... That looks like a..." So much to my surprise I had a total fluke that was usable (much to my surprise).

incredible work. You've managed to make a powerful image with little more than the simplicity of swirls and the right set of colours. I think you also just gave me the right colour scheme to use on my shoggoth miniature.
This begs the question: was this image (I'm guessing by the copyright info below the piece) produced for the Call of Cthulhu CCG? I've seen one or two other works on this site that are in the card sets.

Thank you very much for the incredibly kind and thoughtful comment. The copyright info is really just a fail safe because I'm paranoid, and also just in case I ever want to use this for something professional. But as for your question, no it was never produced for the CCG (I wish). It was just a fractal that I made in between bouts of playing the Call of Cthulhu video game and writing research papers/stories based on the Lovecraftian Mythos for some of my creative writing classes.

well i fave never done any fractal work, but this "thing" looks pretty cool. like a big eyeball.
and the reflection in the "eye" looks pretty neat, too.
