I really like the flower. I wish the crop has been a bit different on the left side to get everything in there.
Outside of that fact I love the colors they are so pretty.

Thanks for replying, Yes, should try to center better my objects. I understand there is alot to condsider beforeΒ taking a good shot. I just concentrated more on taking a clear close up.

I think it's pretty well captured. The exposure is quite nice, the colours are very natural.
I'd say the only thing i could recommend is to give a bit of space to the flower from the left side. Right now it's very tightly cropped to the edge of the photograph and bringing some space there will be compositionally good.
But overall it's a very nice shot! Do more

Thank you!! This shot turned out pretty good.Tried to get it as crisp and clear as possible. Used macro for more close detail. Their deep velvetly colors just gave it that special touch.

I was wanting to enter that myself, but in July the flowers are fewer and farther between.. definitely a difficult time of year for flowers here anyway. Everything has gone to solid green with the exception of a few people's gardens and I hate asking people if I can go in their yards.. I don't have a green thumb so no garden for me.

No, you should enter!! You can put three pictures and they don't have to be new I believe? Go into group and read the rules. I don't want to mislead you. Thats what I understood. There are so many pretty entries!! I entered 3 photos!!
I'm sure you can enter something already from your gallery, like your orange tiger lilies etc.

No cool doors without leaving the house, which I can't do this week.. lol.. I have a sign on a door, boring picture but probably the one I'll use cause it's at least a cute sign.. don't know if it's fitting for the theme though, so just been thinking about it.
