Description
Princess Zelda Balcony - lineartDescription:
I kinda finished inking the lineart in one go - so no versions this time other than the first.
My WIP coloring progress can be found here .
Original sketch can be found here .
I like that I've moved away from the old boring static poses and try something new dynamic with perspective and so on. It's not perfect, there's things like her hand that bothers me, but not something I'm gonna do anything about now. Feel free to point out if you find something..
I'll color this ASAP.

FAQ:
Since people seem more or less interested in how I pulled this one off, I'll add a minor FAQ list that should explain more or less any relevant question about this piece.
Q: What tools did you use to draw this?
A: I mostly start my projects by drawing a sketch the traditional way with a normal random pencil on A4 paper. I didn't this time through. I was bored and started drawing a random sketch of Zelda in Photoshop at work. Ended up pretty decent so I decided to ink it up in in PS, this is the result. I got lazy with the details and long lines half way through, so some of them are pretty crappy drawn. I used a Wacom at work, and at home.
Q: Do you intend to color this?
A: Yes. It'll be colored some way along what I did to Princess Zelda TP v.07 . it's gonna be somewhat nice. I'm using new coloring techniques through, that should add more than one color tone to each item.
Q: How long did it take you to draw this?
A: The sketch took me 'bout 15 - 20 min. Inking it took me, well.. probably 2-4 hours. It's actually a pretty large drawing, so that should explain why it took me so long.
Q: Can I color this?
A: Yes, but ask me first. I'll most likely give you permission, but I'd also like to see the result.
Q: Can I use this?
A: No. Not without my permission. That is, don't put it up on your website without letting me know - no matter the reason.

I never said I sucked at coloring hands. I said I suck at drawing them.
Well, since I couldn't use the one I usually uses, that is LTHOT. I had to figure something else, and since it was a girl I used to talk with who introduced me to this site, I just came up with something ridiculus that I new she'd consider fun. Don't ask..

As long as I'm the only one that see them myself, then that's good.

Dang, it looks even better now! I can't see anything wrong with it personally. ^^
I love the amount of detail you've added. ^_^

Other than the the outcome of the hand (which I kept for last, as I suck at drawing hands) the other issues are pretty minor. Some proportions are pretty off actually - I guess they'll be easier to see through, once I've got it colored.

I love your lines. Do you ink with pens or in PS?

Thanks, I kinda got lazy Γn this piece actually, I've started using techniques where I make sure the line is the right tone and smooth out the lines where they connect with others.. But after I while I just wanted to finish this one, so many of the lines are actually crappy in my own opinion.
I never ink by hand - this particular piece was also sketched in Photoshop, so it never saw actual paper.
