Due to resetters like Frisk and Flowey. He eventually gave up hope on everything, due to how many times people like Flowey reset the timeline, playing-off their world like a game. He's so lazy because he believes everything he does is meaningless as the one with the most Determination will just undo everything that everyone did. Every reset you do, Sans remembers it. Flowey has tortured Sans too much from resetting allot.
