It's been a while I haven't used fine salt, forgot how it works ^^"
After failing a batch yesterday, I said fuck and went full pink, cuz why not!?
Now I love them, they're so pretty ^^ (a bit small, I admit, gonna make bigger ones next time!)

Love water color textures. With some paints and papers, if you just use a spray bottle, you can bet some varied, but similar textures. Without the salt.

Yeah. I've noticed it works better with the liquid water colors than other forms, but I also switched to using hot press, so may be a feature of the smoother paper as well. Haven't quiet figured out how I like it yet, but has been fun to play with.

I like my 3 watercolour papers:
smooth, fine grain, and rough grain
they all give different results that are each very unique!

Yeah, they do. I've found I like the smooth, mostly because it is easier to do penned details on top of it. Though I'm coming to really enjoy working on illustration board as well.
