I'm not entirely sure why, or how this did not get uploaded.... perhaps because I thought it was too similar to another view, or I just can't find it in my gallery....anyhow until I find where I posted.... IF i posted it that is.Enjoy this wonderful scene, and be jealous that you can't see it in the full screen mode that I have currently set as my background :-D

Love this shot! What time of day did you shoot this, if you don't mind my asking? The light seems very even (pleasingly so) in the canyon. I was there a month or so later, in September 2009, and shooting at midday I encountered a lot of shadows on the south (left) side of the canyon. I see the EXIF data shows almost 8:30pm, but that seems rather late.
