Poor Ludwig! BJ always wins because he physically IS Bowser's son. And because he's the youngest, Bowser is dumb not seeing that a talented mastermind is better than a whiny annoying spoiled brat, blah blah blah. But the thing is Ludwig use to be heir of the throne until BJ can and stole not only the throne, but Bowser's appreciation, love, and attention for Ludwig. It's so unfair for Ludwig! Not only does he not get love anymore, but no throne! No more father-and-son for him, no attention, just pure blankness and hatred. Bowser is stupid. If I were Bowser, I would choose Ludwig over BJ.

Ikr! Poor Ludwig, he must be having a terrible life. The young ones get the most attention. Let me explain:Β
1. Bowser replaced Ludwig from heir of the throne to the lowest rank possible, and put an annoying, spoiled brat at the heir.Β
2. Larry, the second youngest, is the main leader of the Koopalings instead of Ludwig, since he's supposed to be. Larry is basically commanding him with force. WTF?! Ludwig should not be treated that way!
3. Bowser never seemed to like, appreciate or even love Ludwig as a son or even a person, even before BJ was born. This basically caused Ludwig depression and this caused him to become the cruelest Koopa in the entire kingdom, it says he is the cruelest on the Mario wiki.
See what I mean? The young ones get everything and the oldest ones get nothing. I also hate 2 Koopas for a throne, it makes no sense. Ludwig would never do such a thing. And Bowser literally HATES Ludwig as a son. Ludwig can flutterjump like Yoshi as seen in NSMBW and he can hover in the air and clone himself as seen in NSMBU. BJ can do none of that crap. And Bowser replaces Ludwig?! What kind of father is he?! It even says Ludwig is the mastermind of the Koopalings, building all the machines from the Koopa Clown Car to BJ's Boomsday Machine in Super Mario Galaxy. Ludwig is basically a overly depressed kid that gets no appreciation and love from his father.

Here's my back up argument, Miyamoto designed them to be his minions from the get go, I guess we Americans and stuff changed it and when they FINALLY saw Miyamoto confirm it and it reached America, everyone flipped

proof for this is that the english SMB3 (their debut) was the ONLY time it was EVER stated in game. though Miyamoto did say them not being his kids was the CURRENT story, so Nintendo of japan might've also gone with the children story at some point. my theory is that bowser disowned them and even the almighty Miyamoto is to afraid to argue with bowser's word XD though this is contradicted with the koopalings STILL having such highΒ ranking over the koopa troop (only Bowser, Kamek and jr usually command the army and their all in the family, so why would the koopalings also have power if they supposedly aren't his kids?) and then even after this officially statement of their relationship, Bowser is still using them (ever since their return, Ludwig is always the final koopaling before bowser. no other boss has this kind of repeating trend. and he continues to get more and more new abilities. whyΒ go through all this troubleΒ if Ludwig is just another minion) and now their going to be in Mario kart 8. Boswer, jr, petey and king boo are the only bosses to be in Mario kart and petey didn't even return for MKW, leaving just bowser, jr and King boo (Luigi's arch nemesis) and since the koopalings were hyped so much, it can be assumed that they would most likely return in later installments. so they're the only "minions" to be in it that aren't generic enemies. Boom boom and pom pom (2 other semi regular "minions". the only difference being they were never said to be Bowser's kids) aren't even in it. why give mere minions so much attention
