WARNING: Large file is large.--
After working on this in little parts since April, I've FINALLY finished! Now you can look at all my old drawings and laugh. I certainly did. xD
For some odd reason, I cannot find an old drawing of Abba for the life of me. I've looked everywhere; the basement, my closet, under my bed... I just can't seem to find it! The funny thing is, I know for a fact that my mom saved one of the first drawings of her because it was on the cover of a story I started at the beginning of fifth-grade. When (and if) I ever find it, I'll be sure to post it. If not, I'll have to use a more recent drawing.
It sure is funny how bad my drawings used to be. This proves you can improve on anything you set your mind to! Practice makes... better drawings! xD

Yeah~ I tend to abandon my characters like a jerk. I don't use Abba a ton anymore, but I sometimes use Ryu in roleplays.

Haha! It was't just Sonic characters who got canned, y'know! Although, they're probably the ones who definitely should have gone anyway. So many of them were just recolours with bits stuck on. Nothing impressive in there at all.
Bits and pieces! I might be slightly better at anatomy, but just look at your linework! Look at how well you've done the shading!

Recolors? Have you looked at my single Sonic character?! Abby looks more like a recolor than any of your characters ever did! Haha.
Oh pfft. That's just because I have a nice tablet and a decent amount of dedicated Photoshop Elements experience. Traditionally, I bet that you're MUCH better than me.

I've just been digging through a bunch of my old pics (I'm planning on doing this meme too), and frankly, it makes me wonder why I bothered changing some of my characters designs. The original Gold and Pandora are FAR better than the current ones...
Yeah, well... I have a tablet too. I can't figure out how to switch pressure on and off though, so I keep ending up with really uneven lines. Traditional? Like, pen/ pencil? I reckon you're probably better than me anyway.

She could still use some work in my eyes. I might be adding some different accessories to her clothing in the next year, but I'm not completely set in stone on it yet.
Don't you hate it when that happens? You try to improve a character, but it ends up looking worse than it did before. Sometimes, I wonder if I should've kept some of the details on Abby's human form...
I have a BIG tablet... Intuos 4 medium. Gives me lots of space and accuracy. (I was spoiled with it when I graduated from 8th grade.) I still draw with my pen pressure on, but I might be able to help you out. What program do you usually use and what tablet do you have?

You have improved a lot. It is always nice to do memes like these every now and then to show yourself how much you have done in just a couple years. Great job, Abby! I'm so proud of you.

I have to admit, I don't remember seeing Ryu's design. He looks amazing.
It's also neat that you sort of drew Abby's pose in a similar way of your old drawing. You can definitely see the difference. X3

Thanks soo much! I seriously looked everywhere for that drawing of Abba. It's hilarious. Before I started attempting anime, my humans looked really weird... especially their noses. I really hope I can find it so I can post it up here.
Ryu... Honestly, I wish that I could use him more often. He's got a really neat backstory. Maybe I'll have to force myself into writing it! *shot'd* I think I messed up on his face, though. Heh.

I made a similar meme, but never posted. For one thing, all my characters became human (surprise surprise). But I'm definatly not posting it.

Let's just say my drawings have improved a great deal. They started where yours did, and ended in the same place yours did.
I might post one of these when I finish making modern refs for all of my characters... But I'm not sure.
