Hm... The fact that it's shiny and the "Apparently met at Lv. 40" but makes it glaringly obvious that it's a hack. Also, it is INCREDIBLY HARD to get a legendary with great IVs like you claim yours have without hacking... Just thought I'd throw that one out there...

Yes. I have. However, the fact that it has great IVs and is also shiny is rather... Well, getting a shiny is a 1 in 8000-something chance. And getting a shiny with the IVs you want has an even less chance of happening. So it's very unlikely that this isn't a hack.
Also, you just proved it's a hack by saying that you battled it. Because the Nintendo events in the US gave away the Darkrai itself, not the item you need for the actual event.
...By the way, I have nothing against hacking. I just hate when people spam hacked legendaries and call them their strongest Pokemon. Also, I admit to hacking the Event Pokemon, there's no shame in it. But battling with Legendaries is cheap and unfair to people who don't.

You can't get to New Moon Island without a cheat code, whether it be the walk/run through walls code or the code that gets you the event item for Darkrai.

Yes, it is. No matter how you look at it, that Darkrai is hacked, because you did not obtain the item to trigger the event legitimately. Not that I or anyone else outside Japan did, but telling people that's it's not a hack makes you a liar. And lying is bad, mmkay?

Also, I openly admitted with this stamp that I am a hacker. I find no problem in it to tell the truth, but when people hack their Pokemon (especially Legendaries) with godly stats and claim them to be their strongest it infuriates me. Not because it's a hack, but because the Pokemon's stats are probably illegitimate and the hacker most likely didn't hand-train their hacks from the ground up.
And besides; True skill in a Pokemon battle is determined by the tactics you use, not how many Legendaries you spam so you can call yourself strong. Because in all honesty, a Darkrai wouldn't stand a chance against a properly trained Weavile. And, I know that from personal experience.
That being said, I'm certain my accusations here are correct, as my (for lack of a better term) "history" of hacking Pokemon has led to me having a pretty easy time telling a hacked Pokemon from a legitimate one.

It just irritates me when people hack Legnedaries. Because as I've already said; Legends are cheap to use in battle, and most people consider using them to be spamming some Pokemon you didn't train form the ground up.
