[even though they arent even 'coloured', skdjfsdl i like it better with white]
ok anyways i just wanted to draw like, a troll lineup,, to show headcanons/what i think they look like etc.
and also to practice more detailed bodies and faces. tbh i made like half of them look older than 13,, oops.... pretend this is them older okay???? okay!!! thank!!;;;; OTL
this was really fun to do actually!!!!! i definitely recommend it if you dont have any ideas on what to draw, you need/want to practice, or you just want an excuse to draw cute trolls ahahah
yes my tavros is tall and kinda tough looking,, sorry its probably really opposite of normal but i just ksjfsld
i just dont necessarily like people showing tavros to be 'weak/vulnerable/etc' like.. hes kinda timid and probably not as strong as vriska or anything, but.. i just dont really see him as like an extreme weakling either. plus i like the idea that his body is kinda strong but his 'inside' is not.
i wanted kanaya to be a bit shorter but then nepeta and karkat wouldnt look so tiny so i didnt haha. i used to think kanaya would be like, reaaally tall, but then i recently played some of the homestuck flash games, and kanayas talksprite is actually a lot shorter/tinier than the other characters. : 0 so.. i now see her as really short ahaah. ;;
ps gamzees probably a little shorter than equius but hes leaning over here so its hard to tell sorry
pps short chubby feferi is one of my most favourite things ever............. <3

Ah, wow. That's kind of an interesting take on Tavros. I can't say I completely agree with it, but I definitely think its still characteristic. There's a whole trope about really tall people who are actually super tender inside, like Sakaki from Azumanga Daioh!, or the Cowardly Lion from The Wizard of Oz.

Overall, I think this is really cool! I know it was unintentional, but I like how there's almost a perfectly smooth transition of height variance, kind of furthering the connection of how close they all are connected with each other.

ahh yeah, its actually one of two headcanons with him, the other being a lot shorter and close to karkat
but i went with the first b/c i didnt want them all to look too similar
its cool, most people dont really have that kinda headcanon since it IS a bit out there so yeah its all cool no worries

I would like to ask one question, though. Since Karkat's blood is actually red, wouldn't he be on the absolute bottom of the Hemospectrum, even though it isn't a 100% natural blood color for Trolls? This isn't the first thing I've seen where he was put in that order, so I'm awfully curious.

ahh, yeah!! i considered the very bottom, which would also make the colour from aradia and feferi sorta blend better
but ive heard a ton of headcanons that, as the mutant bloods are known to have powers the others don't, they would live a lot longer than many of the other bloods; so i placed him at top. the colours dont really blend well, though, so i suppose placing him at bottom would have been better [not to mention karkat having things like nubby teeth/horns/etc, he is not as well equipped to 'fight' like the rest, meaning he may have less of a 'survival' chance than the rest]
im really not sure about a lot of stuff on karkat kdjgsdsdfljdsks
