Description
Zoom ! Drew this before seeing this week’s episode of The Flash, so I missed a few details (there some bolts and scratches on his torso I didn’t see before for example). It was fun. I do think he should be could the Dark Flash or the Black Racer. Or even Speed Demon. It would fit him better than Zoom, a rather ridiculous name for a threat of his caliber (especially for the non comic book audience).The Jpgs can be found on my Tumblr.
UPDATE : Went with a fix background and a bigger zoom on Zoom (I know I know), to add motion.

To be honest, kinda glad they made his outfit black. For years me and alot of comic people I know always had the trouble feeling the difference between him and Reverse. There outfits were way to similar. But I see what you mean with the Black outfit, I really did thought he was the Black Flash.

Well it's much scarier than a yellow costume (even though, thinking back, Reverse Flash was scary too in season 1, but not as much). And in the comics it was basically the same character (before the New 52), it's just the person under the cowl that was different. But I'm not THAT well versed in the Flash comics, so it's confusing sometimes for me too

Amazing work, I had mixed feelings about the name Zoom but seeing him in action I feel like he's made of enough nightmare fuel to overcome the name.

Yeah, you just have to forget his name. And yeah, Flash is kinda ridiculous too, but Barry isn't a scary speed demon lol. But you're right. Once Zoom acts, he isn't kidding.
