This was a fun and challenging commission. I went through about two dozen designs for the autoscripter device.

I can see that. You've must work really hard on the illustration. How long it took you to draw it?

This was done about 5-ish years ago. at the time it took me about a 3 days to a week to get something to this level of finish. Now, I'd consider this a day day or two's worth of work.
But that's just painting. There's at least 3 more days worth of concept work, reference gathering and preliminary drawing, before I get to the painting process.
