This would definitely make the street more beautiful in Brazil. I lived in SΓ£o Paulo for a year, and I definitely wished that there were more trees in the city areas. Your design is excellent. Hopefully, it can become a reality in the city! Β

SΓ£o Paulo is too much concrete, I agree with that, but I think it would be different for you to meet the south of Brazil. The city I live in, Curitiba, is filled with trees, some streets we have high trees that form a tunnel of some sort, I like it here, I believe it's worth checking.
I agree though, that SP need a masterplan that shapes the streets in a different way

acctually in the project these trees aren't sakuras (even though they are very famous)
These are a brazilian tree.
The species are Tabebuia avellanedae
look up in google images and you see that is an awesome tree!!
