Oh, finally!! The color version of [link]This is my entry to the October Color contest [link] Halloween and Mushroom!
Many of you have seen my lineart, and this is my colored version! A lot of effort put into this!
When they said you could mix Halloween with mushroom... I present "Toad's Nightmare".
"This is Halloween! All Hail to the Pumpkin King!"

I love the texture and detail you've brought into this picture, the line-art (which I have not seen) must have taken some really tedious care to get every character just right, from Jack's spidery pose to even the playful grins of Lock Shock and Barrel. I wish I could do a critique for you, so stunned am I by this work.

I really took a lot of time and care, watched the videos over and over on youtube to try to get the characters right... their ways, expressions and all.
I like the way that Jack moves, sometimes in an odd and creepy way. Similar to a cricket and a spider sometimes, with these skinny legs and all! I wanted to put some of this here...
I wish I were able to put more characters here, but there wasn't enought time... Maybe it would have got too busy.

no trust me the scene is just right, the characters fill enough of the frame that it really accentuates what you are trying to draw the viewer into. It also just feels like you are there in Halloween town.
Lol, no prob, I have seen the movie so many times, but you included some details that even I haven't caught onto, that I see is true dedication in what you were creating.

The Harlequin Demon! Because of it's unique design, I love that guy. I also like the one hiding under your stairs, but I agree with you about Lock, Shock and Barrel (I love their song "Kidnap the Sandy Claws")

yeah I like introduction song, What's This?, Kidnap the Sandy Claws, and when Jack introduces his idea to the townsfolk. What year did the movie go out cuz I forgot, its been I while since I've watched it.

Sometimes I feel that Jack moves like a spider or a cricket, also sometimes he moves his hands in creepy ways... I thought that the legs like this would suit the character.

this would be my top pick for the coloring contest based on the amazing textures and outstanding technique used to emulate tim burton's style, but it's incomplete? Hopefully it's like Ayayue said and you just uploaded the wrong version and we can see the completed version. Really amazing work though
