Pyrrha certainly was, and still is, my favorite RWBY character, in fact i started watching RWBY because of her, i remember seeing a fanart of her and i thought her design was beautiful, i didn't know she was part of Rwby at the time, so i went to research where the character was from and ended up accessing her page on the RWBY wiki, i can't express my surprise and shock when i saw that (SPOILER ALERT) her status counted as "deceased", my only question at that moment was ''how?"

Then i started watching the series, which was already in volume 7 at the time, i had already seen the trailers but i had never dive into the Show, and i must say, seeing her interactions with her teammates, with her friends, hearing her words to Jaune at the prom in volume 2, all of that Knowing that she would die soon, that was heartbreaking, all i wanted was to get in the screen, hug her and tell her that everything was going to be okay and never let anything bad happen to her, EVEEEEEEER, then when i realised, she was already my favorite character.

I almost couldn't get to see her fight against Cinder, and I'll be honest, i couldn't get to rewatch her death scene until this very day. The only thing that consoles me is that thanks to volume 6, we know that the afterlife does exists in RWBY and i am sure that she is there and that one day she will be reunited with her friends and with Jaune, and hopefully it will be afeter that they had a very good and long life after they defeated Salem.

So i decided that in my homage to this character, i would draw her with a halo in the afterlife with a big smile (the fact that i'm rewatching Dragon Ball Z and I'm now in the Buu saga where Goku has a halo really helps with that haha), maybe she is happy to hear about her friends' victory? Maybe finally after decades of waiting she is meeting her friend again in the afterlife with a warm welcome? Maybe because she finally settled the score with Cinder after the villain's death?

I did this because many of her fanarts have a melancholic tone, so i wanted to give my fanart a more optimistic tone, i hope you like it.

(And for god sake Rooster Teeth, why mess with us like that in volume 9, it hurts, resuscitate her once for all!!!!)
