Excerpt from a journal thing I used to have to keep myself sane.

This constant connection is… comforting. Very comforting. I always feel like you’re somewhere near, a constant presence. I never feel lonely or alone… well, almost never. There are moments of deep longing that last a few minutes and quickly fade away. In a way it feels like LDR. [...] It keeps me engaged, not exactly always thinking about you, it’s more like a very low constant sound that never quite goes away. Sometimes I pause and wonder what is it, that’s when you come to the forefront of my thoughts and I’m like, right it’s him. This used to be more acute, the all I’m thinking about is you. It’s more subtle now, less uhmm desperate? I’m not very comfortable with that word… it’s just not all-consuming, it’s all-permeating. Echos of you in my every cell.
