Software used: ApophysisI finally got around to ~C-91 's tutorial (credited below)!
I'm just getting to know this style so no heavy tweaking was done, just playing with shapes, details and gradient 
Do check Silvia's tutorial, it's so much fun!

You sound like it bothers you. Why, my friend?
It's not that I need the money specifically from art. I need some money to pay my rent, food, doctors, studying materials and other things - since I have to pay for these by myself. I prefer making the money by doing things I enjoy, instead of filling shelves with pasta in local store 14 hours a day. There are plenty of people who can do this type of job but there is only me who can make art like this. Don't you agree?
As I said many times before, I do art mainly as an art therapy and to share (hopefuly) beautiful artworks with other people, to brighten up their day and inspire them. The fact that along the way I make some money is just a nice side effect but I never create artwork with specific goal to make money and this will never change.

True, maybe I am overreacting. I recently saw someone leave dA, whom I really cared about. I typed quite a long story, telling why her sudden decision astonished me, but that I respect her decision, and that I will miss her, and wish her the best in her future modelling career. I have been supporting this person for 4 years, and all I got back was "You are being rude".
In short, I hate Facebook, for it is the proverbial big truck people just dump something on, for craving attention. And if you "like" anything, that information is sold for targeted advertising. Maybe I will do a blog post someday, listing the numerous reasons why I will never have Facebook.
Lots of people leave dA for Facebook simply just because they are not getting enough attention any more. I am therefore worried when an intelligent person like you says the benefits outweigh the costs. I was afraid you were going to leave; I am glad that is not the case. At least you are doing it like most professionals do (who have Facebook because they need to make money with their art), posting your art on dA, and background info/promotional pics/concept art etc. on the non-sophisticated social networks.

I love this artwork so much, my friend - I like a comment from another artist where they weren't sure if it was plant or space art?
I feel the same way, it's kind of like I'm looking at a fern plant swirling in the wind with gorgeous lights all around, and then it feels like a special spatial event in space - indeed magic!
