Before the main plot of bleach
In the past (before she was a vizard) she had long grown hair, straight trimmed falling around her mid-back to butt. As most shinigami she wore her robes, sandals. Often when off duty she’d wear fancy edo-style dress.
Before the timeskip
During the time, before the timeskip when she’d already become a vizard she kept her pastel pink hair cut straight and in shoulder length pigtails, with bangs. She often wears vintage clothing (american 1960s fashion) particularly likes dresses, and flashy colours.
After the timeskip
She has grown her hair out again but keeps it in a loose low hanging tie. She wears her normal everyday clothing, always a casual business lady.
⟡ BACKGROUND
Before the main plot of bleach
Kazue grew up in a fairly wealthy house, but not as high as most of the noble families. She was born and raised with her brothers in the soul society rukongai and has never been human. She wished as many others to become a shinigami from a young age, and would become a successful shinigami in her older years. She loves her family, she never really went against what her parents wanted for her. This didn’t mean her relationship with her family was fantastic, as most she still had these rough patches. Growing up with two older brothers impacted her making extroverted but less trustworthy. Having strict parents was also hard for her growing up, and might have attributed to the fact that she can sometimes be a bit impractical, childish and rebellious.
Like her brothers, her family is extremely proud to have made some strong shinigami. Her older twin brothers really inspired her to become a fighter, if she never had them to spar and practice she probably wouldn’t have turned out as strong as she is now. Even though her family has ups and downs she still has confidence that they’d defend her if anything were to happen.
101 Years ago
Sometime around the timing of the disappearances in 9th division, she’d also happen to go missing. She ended up being one of Aizen’s experiments, unknown to him she somehow survived. Though she wouldn’t know Aizen did this to her, she could recall the process and the strange hollow power she felt within’. Knowing she could not return to the soul society she decided to go to the human world. Before her transformation she’d have a conversation with Urahara about the idea of a Gigai for missing souls, Urahara would also be the first one to stabilize her with his Hōgyoku. With the idea in her mind of a gigai she’d come up with her own prototype before the real thing was made. Being one of the first Vizards, and would continue to experiment on her Gigai until it was the way she wanted it to be.
Before the timeskip
At this time Kazue would be working in a warehouse of sorts, having years in the human world worked for her as she managed to hold up a place where she could produce Gigai, and experiment on them. Eventually she would make ties with Urahara and become his supplier of Gigai (and other products).
She’d also learned to make ties with the other Visored via Urahara, and would naturally come in contact with any others who managed to escape to supply them with a Gigai and any other essentials.
After the timeskip
After the truth came to light about the incident with Aizen, she’d be allowed to come back to the soul society with a trial held. In the end she’d choose to remain exiled, and keep her position as a scientist and engineer in the human world. She remains close with Urahara and Yoruichi. She scams trips back to the Soul Society off of them.

She’s fairly open about her feelings and the things she likes and dislikes, a very extroverted person. She wouldn’t want to stand too much out from the crowd at a party but would still be engaged in the events and talking to people. She has ambition, when she was younger she really pushed herself to be where she was. Her hard work paid off giving her a high role in her squad.
She can be a bit of a worry wart sometimes and tends to have difficulty making decisions whether it be very simple or very serious. These anxious acts can relate to her insomnia, her bad habit of staying up far too late and not being able to sleep. She also acts over dramatic a lot, sometimes it's charming and other times comical how much she beats herself up about pointless things. She is a bit neurotic, always needlessly worrying.
From her life with her brothers and strict parents, Kazue is smart but impractical when it comes to heart over brain decisions. When tasked to decide something she’ll find it difficult but in the end will ultimately choose what her heart says. It may not always be the right answer though. This impractical behaviour, is much like her rebellious tendencies.
Kazue also has a passion for science and research, a part of why she ended up as 4th seat in the 12th division. She’d come to be one of the smartest shinigami, maybe not on a level of Aizen or Urahara but ball parking them for sure. She has a keen eye for detail, and the habit of stealing things might have something to do with this. She can be a bit of a hoarder with trinkets but she knows they can be useful for later.

Zanpakuto Hone Jo-ō 骨女王
Zanpakuto Spirit Hone Jo-ō is a silent reserved spirit, she's quite heartless but is kind to those she has a bond to.

She looks like a regular Katana with a reddish gleam on the sword, the hilt is wrapped in purple (royal) binding with a loose tassel hanging down. The guard is made from gold in the shape of a rectangle with a triangle in it - that looks like a flag. From closer inspection there are tiny diamond pieces in the top of the guard.
Shikai

Wrapping bones around the base of the sword turns it into a demon-like flaming sword that splits into identical twin swords. The bones can fluidly move with the users hand/arm movements as if the swords were extra body parts. The zanpakuto can dodge attacks easily due to its ability to snake a curve when it extends (much like Renji’s zanpakuto)

Shinji Hirako
They both like eachother but aren’t a thing/in a relationship (yet?).
Kazue and Shinji knew of each other before becoming Visoreds, back when they were both shinigami working in the soul society. The two weren’t anything more than friends at this point, and honestly at the time Kazue would have been too distracted by work to think about anything or anyone. Before her transformation when she was mainly just friends with him, she thought of Shinji as an odd captain. He had a strange accent, and was into living world music. It was an acquired taste.
After she turned and got in contact with the other Visoreds she changed her opinions and got to open up more, and vice versa. Seeing as she was a supplier of goods, they met quite often through Urahara. This is when she developed a more complex relationship with Shinji. They could bond over their pasts and what had happened to each other, as well as them leading a group of exiles. Over some time Shinji’s quirks just grew on her, and she started to like (like) him.

Kirio Hikifune
Kazue fondly remembers her old captain, though she wasn’t as close as a lieutenant would be to their captain. As most though Kirio was a good person, a very sweet lady and like most members they adored their captain. Kazue definitely viewed her as a mother or teacher figure in her life. It was very hard seeing her leave to be promoted. Kazue hasn’t seen her since she was in office, someday she plans to come back to say ‘Hi’ to everyone.

Hiyori Sarugaki
As a member of squad 12, Kazue was very aware of Hiyori. The two knew each other, and got along fairly well whenever they were together. During her time in the soul society Kazue was a lot more childish and Hiyori somewhat looked up to her like a younger sister and a teenage sister relationship. They both shared the view on Hikifune’s leaving the squad, when Urahara came to replace her it was very hard not to be angry about it. The two shared a lot of similar views, and when Kazue went missing Hiyori was probably the first person on the squad to notice her disappearance.
In the human world, when the other vizords would eventually find Kazue. Hiyori would reunite with her, their relationship wouldn't have changed much even though Kazue changed a bit in her personality. The two would become more mature over the next couple of years, but the two when seeing eachother again would just become their old childish selves. They've been together for so long, it's a very strong bond.
Lisa Yadōmaru
Lisa doesn’t particularly talk to Kazue, they got to know each other more when they were exiled together. Though the relationship isn’t very strong seeing as Lisa isn’t a very extroverted type of person. If she was in a pinch though Lisa would probably step in, and vise versa.
Love Aikawa
These two have a very business related relationship, neither of them really hate each other or think much of one another. When Love comes to her workplace though it’s always fun for her to converse with him. He’s a chill guy and it’s sometimes easier to talk to Love than with Hiyori or Mashiro.
Hachigen Ushōda
Knows him back from when they were in the soul society, she thinks he's very sweet and probably the best person to talk to when needing to get straight to the point. It’s a new friendship, they’re both fine in one another's company. Kazue likes to hang around and drink tea with him, seeing as he has a calming atmosphere. He’s also rather observant with her emotions, which makes for a good companion when she isn’t feeling well mentally.

Yoruichi Shihōin
Doesn’t know her that well, but Kazue is on a friendly basis with Yoruichi whenever she may happen to visit the Urahara shop.
Kisuke Urahara
After captain Hikifune was to be replaced with Urahara, much like Hiyori and other members of squad 12 Kazue found it hard to accept the new captain. Of course being a woman of science, Urahara being placed as the captain of squad 12 and creating the research core intrigued her.
Though she wouldn’t be as close as Hiyori would be to her new captain, when in contact she tried to pick his brain about certain experiments. This would also be how she kind of took the idea of the gigai and made it her own.
In the future when she’d become a resident in the human world, Urahara would have found her quite fast. Picking up her spiritual pressure. Finding her in a small warehouse depot, she explained what happened to her and understandingly Urahara would ask her to stay in contact.
Overtime, she’d start her business becoming a huge producer of spiritual goods. Providing Urahara as one of her associates with stock for his store.

Sosuke Aizen
Pretty on the nose, she didn’t think much of Aizen but as soon as she found out that he was the cause of this transformation to her body and got her exiled from the soul society she no longer cared if he died. Before her hollowfication like many others she thought Aizen was a fine man, not even really having a hint that he’d be inherently evil. She saw much of herself in him, it was inspiring to be that smart.
