I like the scenery and the perspective, and the skeletal tree on the lower right gives the illusion of spookiness and creepiness. The fading mist also adds to the eerie aura. I like how the mountain and the tree are reaching "up and away", it gives the piece a great perspective of depth. Overall the settings are very good.
On first glance I wasn't too sure what the characters were doing, it was kinda hard to see past the gloom. The figures look a bit small, but the main issue I think was the color choice; the characters kinda faded into the background because their pelts were dark-colored (so they faded into the night sky). Some advice I have is to "maintain a contrast between the characters and the backgrounds." This could be accomplished by adding a large moon, shimmery clouds, fire/firelight, etc. Adding contrast will help draw the viewer's eye to the characters & will add more of an impact to the scene.
