whether this goes wrong depends on the tripwire type (either one that snaps when pressure is put upon it, releasing something it has been tied to, or one that when pressure is put on it, pulls out a pin, for explosives, or a support, causing the trap to activate)

she rolled a 1 on the D20 on disarming traps......she is getting a 1D8 clobbering ( with a saving throw for half damage )
