quick question tho, what would you think of leafeon growing flowers (either as a mane or certain spots on it's body) depending on the season and what greens it is based on?

Oh, I've always liked the idea of it growing flowers! Especially as a mane.
I just didn't do anything like that because it wouldn't resemble the original design of it much.

Plant based pokemon have in a sense often looked odd to me when they are based on a plant that gets flowers but the pokemon wontΒ
The only one that have changing skin/fur is the deerling line : <Β
Sure I can understand that it would create even more job for the animators or gamers but it would been a very neat thing to add for those that have plants on or based from.
So really happy that you like the idea of the flowers as well.Β
