I'm planning on cosplaying Terezi, but I've seen so many people doing so that I thought I'd mix it up a bit and do her god tier. Too lazy to do both a design and a figure so I used this base .

EDIT: I simplified the design and made it more... Hussie-ish. The wings have also been changed to incorporate Terezi's coin.

• The design is a combination of baggy seer's robes, her dragon outfit, Redglare's outfit, and a power suit.
• The colors are from the Land of Thought and Flow [S] Flip. update for the clothing, her blood color for the wings, and of course her red shoes.
• The wing pattern has the standard lily shape on the top with four dots inside, the lower wing has three dots, and the bottom tail has one.
• The wings themselves are based on dragon wings, for obvious reasons, with a spiked tail at the bottom.
• Her symbol is based on the Illuminati pyramid and the all-seeing eye and the color is also from the LOTAF. from the [S] Flip. update.

I also plan on doing a human Terezi. So I'll be regular Terezi Friday, god tier Saturday, and human Sunday (so I can take it easy). :3

Very cool! The wings sorta remind me of a dragon/butterfly thing. Did you ever think about using dragon fly wings or is that too obvious.

She might get to god tier soon... I feel like she's about to die.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

LucidLumi In reply to MagicToasters [2011-04-14 03:01:24 +0000 UTC]

I stated in the description that her wings are based on a dragons. Plus, of course, the normal butterfly wings of god tier.

She can't ever reach god tier, because her dream self is dead and she doesn't have access to her quest bed anymore.

Really nice design. I love the teals, and the keeping of Terezi's red shoes, among a myriad of other things.

I would definitely want to see photos of the cosplay when this is finished. It's too nice, and definitely suits both Terezi and the Homestuck style for God Tiers in general.

Also, I think the commenter who suggested making the buttons red has a good idea, as Terezi's red shades would definitely be part of this outfit, along with her shoes. Red and green pretty much contrast, and teal doesn't contrast that much differently against red than green does. It's just a thought, but I think it's probably a good one.

Thank you very much. I really appreciate the feedback and I'll be sure to take lots of photos.

Tell you what, when I go to the fabric store, whichever color button I see first and there's enough of are the one's I'll get. >

You're welcome.

Ahahah, hey that's only fair since it's your costume. You're the one wearing/making it so...who cares what color they are as long as the look works?

LucidLumi In reply to DeepChrome [2011-04-08 04:34:29 +0000 UTC]

You're absolutely right! *changes the entire color scheme to baby pink and sea foam green*

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

DeepChrome In reply to LucidLumi [2011-04-08 04:37:10 +0000 UTC]

Hehehe.

I'll be curious to see who complains about that one, cause honestly I won't. I like seafoam, it's one of the colors in my room here. Baby pink's another story but since Terezi would probably just say it tastes like cotton candy, I don't think anybody's gonna be able to muster even a canon protest.

(Except for the obvious "why not all red?" which is pretty much put down by "But Aradia and Dave have red already!" )

LucidLumi In reply to DeepChrome [2011-04-08 04:42:56 +0000 UTC]

LOL! That's amazing that you came up with a justification for such an outrageous color scheme. XD

Honestly, taking a look at Terezi's room, there's very little that could arouse a canon protest.

All red is for the weirdo time peoples. XD

DeepChrome In reply to LucidLumi [2011-04-08 04:51:35 +0000 UTC]

Hahaha, yeah, it is. XD I think the teal works fine for Terezi, and I see it as her color anyways. Also teal/seafoam might be a nice contrast-y combination to use for the costume so everything's not in a total sea of teals. Seafoam can be justified as basically a pale teal. If you want more rationalization funz0rs.

As for being able to do that, well..if you stay in the crazy Internet (and art) worlds long enough, you figure out how to justify almost anything only because your mind can wrap around it. Something about Imagination Stat Boosting properties or some such of art. Or something like that. >_>

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

LucidLumi In reply to DeepChrome [2011-04-08 05:50:34 +0000 UTC]

NO! NEEDS MOAR TEAL! D<

Since I'm far too lazy to dye, I'll be stuck with whatever colors I can find, be it teal, seafoam, or what have you. :\

Oh, it has nothing to do with internet. I use the same techniques to pass almost all my classes.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

DeepChrome In reply to LucidLumi [2011-04-08 06:22:30 +0000 UTC]

Hahahahah.

Okay, yeah...rationalization is awesome sometimes. Except when people see through it.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

LucidLumi In reply to DeepChrome [2011-04-09 00:02:14 +0000 UTC]

If they see through it, then it wasn't very rational.

DeepChrome In reply to LucidLumi [2011-04-09 00:23:45 +0000 UTC]

That's a very good point. The best ones to me are the ones that do make sense.

All lies must contain truth.

DeepChrome In reply to LucidLumi [2011-04-09 00:31:15 +0000 UTC]

That would be why they're so effective. The problem is all the non-truth there.

Rationalizations can be lies, but they don't have to be.

LucidLumi In reply to DeepChrome [2011-04-09 03:09:58 +0000 UTC]

Heh, of course. Then there's the matter of logic.

I was having a out-logic-illogic contest in the car with my friend in that, she would say something completely illogical and I would trump it with logic. Sick burns were present.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

DeepChrome In reply to LucidLumi [2011-04-09 03:16:44 +0000 UTC]

Sounds like it. One of my friends does that regularly to people spouting irrational nonsense on a message forum I also frequent, and it's fun to watch the burnination.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

LucidLumi In reply to DeepChrome [2011-04-09 03:19:14 +0000 UTC]

It's just a shame most people who shout nonsense can never appreciate the logic.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

DeepChrome In reply to LucidLumi [2011-04-09 19:43:28 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, it ends up being like arguing with a brick wall! I've seen it enough times. A friend once described running a forum that runs rampant with this an exercise in building sand castles before the tide comes in, and building them again after they get washed away. I think it's a pretty decent analogy. Heh.
