I'm planning on cosplaying Terezi, but I've seen so many people doing so that I thought I'd mix it up a bit and do her god tier. Too lazy to do both a design and a figure so I used this base .

EDIT: I simplified the design and made it more... Hussie-ish. The wings have also been changed to incorporate Terezi's coin.

• The design is a combination of baggy seer's robes, her dragon outfit, Redglare's outfit, and a power suit.
• The colors are from the Land of Thought and Flow [S] Flip. update for the clothing, her blood color for the wings, and of course her red shoes.
• The wing pattern has the standard lily shape on the top with four dots inside, the lower wing has three dots, and the bottom tail has one.
• The wings themselves are based on dragon wings, for obvious reasons, with a spiked tail at the bottom.
• Her symbol is based on the Illuminati pyramid and the all-seeing eye and the color is also from the LOTAF. from the [S] Flip. update.

I also plan on doing a human Terezi. So I'll be regular Terezi Friday, god tier Saturday, and human Sunday (so I can take it easy). :3

That. Is an amazing analogy. And I plan on using it in the future. Thank you.

You're welcome, and awesome. I guess that's why the analogy stuck in my head for so long - it was that good.

Heh, indeed. If you have any other good ones, do run them by me. c:

Antivirus programs are like a condom for your computer. (Friend at uni gave me that one.)

The day you don't expect something is the day it happens. (Something I came up with, it's annoyingly true.)

I remember one friend commenting in a chatroom about guys looking at women's boobs, and he'd added those that end in .jpeg didn't count.

The same one mentioned something about soccer being like a 22,000 person Free-For-All style game. (You know, given the riots. I'd take the analogy further can call it an MMO.)

Sorry if they aren't quite as deep as that one. I wish I had more. -.-

LucidLumi In reply to DeepChrome [2011-04-09 21:33:15 +0000 UTC]

OH GOG, YES! (That's why I use a Mac. XD)

Uhg. And the opposite also seems to be true.

*snrk* That took me a second. But, yeah, pretty much.

I now really want to see a riot-style MMO. Basically just go in as a massive group and destroy everything then move on. Of course, it would be more complex than that, but great stress relief.

Naw, doesn't have to be deep, so long as it's memorable. It's the stupid comments that seem to stick with us the longest. So, if you can manage to make something deep sound catchy and stupid, you're golden.

Hahahaha.

Yeah, maybe that's why I like Still Alive so much - catchy, a little corny and derpy, and yet somehow it still sticks in my brain and replays itself at the oddest moments.

Most of the songs written by Jonathan Coulton are like that. XD
Have you ever heard 'I Feel Fantastic'?

DeepChrome In reply to LucidLumi [2011-04-09 23:03:53 +0000 UTC]

Haha no, now I'm gonna have to go YouTube the thing. Thanks.

8-bit music also has that effect on me. For a long time, I'd have classic Tetris music, or original Super Mario Bros music lodged in my brain from when I played the NES more often in middle/high school.

Another good one is Daft Punk. Some of their music has that oddly quirky effect that stays lodged in my brain. Like Better Faster Harder Stronger. What the hell is that song anyways?

LucidLumi In reply to DeepChrome [2011-04-09 23:10:54 +0000 UTC]

If you can't find it, here. [link]

Classic 8-bit music is possibly the best thing ever. And it is darn catchy. I personally enjoy when modern songs are remixed to be 8-bit and visa versa.

... *is listening to Daft Punk right now* Um... I don't even.

DeepChrome In reply to LucidLumi [2011-04-09 23:22:52 +0000 UTC]

They're awesome, and have a bit of that 8-bit vibe, but man they can be strange.

And listening to it now, thanks to your link. Thanks.

I think their most famous stuff right now is the Tron soundtrack, which is awesome and has some earworm elements.

LucidLumi In reply to DeepChrome [2011-04-09 23:25:52 +0000 UTC]

Well, that's what makes Daft Punk, Daft Punk. *shrug*

All I know is steak tastes better when I take my steak-tastes-better pills.

I would have to agree. Earworm?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

DeepChrome In reply to LucidLumi [2011-04-09 23:30:00 +0000 UTC]

Heh.

There's a few of their songs that are quite earworm, the best one for me is the Better Harder Faster Stronger, because it's just so bizarre.

Face to Face, Robot Rock, One More Time, and some of the others also tend to stick in my brain.

Also if you like 8-bit, there's a guy out there by the handle of trash80 who offers some free music that's 8-bit and surprisingly slick for such. Google them, you'll find their site. One of my favorites of theirs is called Pain Fade Down. Very relaxing, yet techno.

LucidLumi In reply to DeepChrome [2011-04-09 23:45:14 +0000 UTC]

Is earworm a term for songs that get stuck in your head?

Is it [link] ?

I'm just asking you all the questions, aren't I?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

DeepChrome In reply to LucidLumi [2011-04-10 01:05:47 +0000 UTC]

Yep that's the one. Hey someone's gotta ask questions, where would we all be without questions?

And yes, that's exactly the term. Earworm.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

LucidLumi In reply to DeepChrome [2011-04-10 01:29:51 +0000 UTC]

It's just weird for me, I guess. I'm normally the one who answers everyone's questions. It certainly is a nice switch.

All my sentence seem to start with the letter 'I', so I thought I'd change that. XD

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

DeepChrome In reply to LucidLumi [2011-04-10 02:13:46 +0000 UTC]

And I don't mind being asked questions. Lets me talk, but also gives me a nice clear-cut boundary so I don't run off into wall-of-text, which is one of my worse typing habits. (Being able to type 110 WPM, and having way too much caffeine can suck sometimes.)

I didn't notice the "I," so you don't have to worry. Really.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

LucidLumi In reply to DeepChrome [2011-04-10 03:41:41 +0000 UTC]

Heh, complete opposite from me. I type quickly but always say what I mean and nothing more. My professors hate that; they always have to tell me to pad my essays. XD

You need to lay off the caffeine, bro. That stuff'll give you kidney stones.

DeepChrome In reply to LucidLumi [2011-04-10 03:46:31 +0000 UTC]

It's sis. I'm female. I just tend to not act like one sometimes. (Don't worry, part of it's the nick, which is as genderless as a pesterchum handle... >_>)

Yeah, I only use it when I either need it or really want it. Otherwise, no.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

LucidLumi In reply to DeepChrome [2011-04-10 05:31:49 +0000 UTC]

I was pretty sure you were female; I just call everyone bro. XD

I've never managed to get Pesterchum to work for me.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

DeepChrome In reply to LucidLumi [2011-04-10 05:34:21 +0000 UTC]

Aahahaha. A friend recently told me he calls girls "dude" too, so I really shouldn't have bothered saying anything. XD

Hmm. I've thought of trying it, but I'm pretty used to AIM, and all the AIM font color defaults show up in the Pesterchum logs on Homestuck, so I tend to see AIM as the "classic" Pesterchum, and not really want to bother with much else. (My current IM text color choice is a custom set a few shades brighter than Gamzee's. I call it Grape Explosion.)

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

LucidLumi In reply to DeepChrome [2011-04-10 05:52:08 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, same here. I've never really bothered to care about gender-specific terminology, I just say what I think sounds best.

I primarily use iChat which lets you set a background color for your text, as well as a text color. So I keep my text black but make the background a grape green.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

DeepChrome In reply to LucidLumi [2011-04-10 05:56:46 +0000 UTC]

Nice, sounds pretty.

For chatting, I use IRC, have it set up in black with white text (for better readability. While I can read normal print, I prefer high-contrast for maximum readability), and most of the info in Portal-hues of orange and blue for join and quit texts. AIM is...well, AIM.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

LucidLumi In reply to DeepChrome [2011-04-10 06:12:24 +0000 UTC]

Uhg. Haven't used AIM in years. Really can't stand it.
I use iChat, Skype, and Adium, which is awesome cause it lets you log in from several other messengers, including MSN and AIM, and keep them all bundled together.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

DeepChrome In reply to LucidLumi [2011-04-10 06:16:45 +0000 UTC]

Used to use Trillian for that reason, but got tired of it, then lost it in a puter crash.

AIM's streamlined and improved nowadays since the old exsperating clunkers of 3 years ago. The bing noises don't bother me because I typically keep my puter muted.

Still, chat programs are a personal preference. I'd never tell anyone to quit one simply because I don't have it.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

LucidLumi In reply to DeepChrome [2011-04-10 06:24:25 +0000 UTC]

You can't get it back?

Never minded to bing, just minded the people. I really actually hate IMs because of the way people talk on them. And I don't mean so much the poor grammar, I mean the constant talking. When I talk, even in normal conversation, I just like to throw ideas back and forth casually, but it seems everyone I talk to wants my full attention at all times. That's the primary reason I use iChat, cause only really my best friend (the one with the matching moirail icon) and I use it regularly.

I believe that may be the longest text blurb I've sent you yet. You're a back influence on me. XD

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

DeepChrome In reply to LucidLumi [2011-04-11 01:37:55 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, I prefer chatrooms too a lot of the time - otherwise if the other person isn't talking much, you better hope you have a good distraction to keep you busy so you don't spam them.

(As for getting it back - eh, the problem was I ended up forgetting to turn my MSN mostly, I've forgotten my old-as-cobwebbed-fuck ICQ number, and I seem to have more friends on AIM than the other 2 messengers combined, and I STILL prefer IRC over AIM most of the time anyways...Not much point to getting Trillian back at that point. )

Yeah, as for talking styles, I kinda get you. I like the few lines of text, let the other person talk, few lines of text. Some people prefer one line, and just back and forth more rapid-fire. I dunno. To each their own, and I get that some people can just be asses online just out of being attention whores. If they drive you crazy, nothing I do or say's going to change that, so...yeah.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

LucidLumi In reply to DeepChrome [2011-04-11 01:55:29 +0000 UTC]

I just don't really like talking to people that much. XD

Fair enough. No sense recovering what you don't need.

Say your bit and be done with it, is how I go. But I must admit, it is amusing in a sick way when I see people so attached to messaging that they're doing it constantly. While they're busy staring at a screen, waiting with everything they have for replies, I'm creating and enjoying life. XD

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

DeepChrome In reply to LucidLumi [2011-04-11 02:02:17 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, I've had problems like that in the past, but these days if someone's not talking, I go find something else to do. Usually draw. Or listen to music. Or talk to somebody else. I don't hang on people's words that much.

However, it IS fun keeping up with a conversation if the other person wants to talk.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

LucidLumi In reply to DeepChrome [2011-04-11 02:11:22 +0000 UTC]

To each their own.

You're fun to talk to, but I don't think I would be this talkative if we were IMing. I'm weird like that. XD

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

DeepChrome In reply to LucidLumi [2011-04-11 02:29:34 +0000 UTC]

Thanks.

No worries. I post a lot on fora anyways, and I find being able to write something and reconsider the words before hitting send sometimes communicates better than live-text.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

LucidLumi In reply to DeepChrome [2011-04-11 02:32:08 +0000 UTC]

Exactly my point. It's always nice to give things a once over and not make a total ass of yourself. XD

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

DeepChrome In reply to LucidLumi [2011-04-11 02:41:29 +0000 UTC]

Heh.

I think some people just communicate better by this way, while others can be good at it in realtime.

I can do both, but I tend to stick to generally coherent grammar/writing save for the goddamn typos augh they must be my typing quirk... Anyways, I generally don't mind either form, as I can see benefits to both.
