Kitty shows some character, good!
Compared to so many portraits of pets with a sole purpose of looking cute, such communication brings welcome life and personality to a portrait like this. I like how close the relationship between her and her cat feels, in that sense any clothing she might have had would have been distraction from the fact that this is about her and her cat.

exactly my friend... the simplest way to say it is to nut distract watchers with anything else but them. I kinda love cat´s expression, she was such a talker

Despite of the cat's expression, I assume the owner was not scratched and no eyes of the photographer were clawed out during the process.

That display of character reminds me of another most memorable animal portrait I have seen. It was of a small dog next to a table with a table cloth and dog bisquit on it. The picture had nothing but the dog's ears and eyes visible over the edge of the table, but you could tell for sure what it was thinking, well aware of the bisquit being on the table...

It is her own cat so they both were fine, just that cat was communicating a lot
