As with burlesque dancers, by all means the models need not always be the slimmest possible. The hairdo makes me think that after this photoshoot she would continue preparing herself for that important night out she had in mind. The elements of fun and tease yet with a touch of innocence is also present.
The blank background gives her full credit when it comes to pose and details, but at the same time she looks a bit like having been pasted on it. Might as well be the picture is supposed to be used in other contexts as well.
