First and foremost, I'm really loving the use of the ISO to create the awesome feel and look of this shot. Yeah you could have used lights or a flash but then the emotion would have been lost in this shot. Bravo for that. Not many people dare venture over the "800" benchmark. I like that!!

I love the use of fore, mid and back ground in the composition. Curtains or drapes create the voyeur feel to it almost, like I'm watching someone or something I really shouldn't be. The dark feel even evokes the though of taboo rituals in a way. There's no clearly defined event here but the mind can go in a world of different directions and it's solely left up to us to determine what's going on, based on the lack of a description.

At this ISO I've never been able to get something CRISP but the candle and bottom of the flame are sharp and I'm liking the flame's lens flare/reflection in the lens. Probably would be hard to omit it and even if you can, I'm glad you didn't.

Background being out of focus really makes me question, as I said before, what's going on in this girl's world and in her head, and why am I peering through this shroud of mystery.

I'm sure there is something negative in this shot that could use improvement but not this time around. I really like this shot. If anything "bad" would be said, it should only be the mention of the flame lens flare reflection, but I like it in the shot so if you're happy enough to post it, it has purpose in my eyes. Great shot!!!
