Well, this was a wish of the commissioner, and he gave me the most wonderful reference to work with (I suggest you to check his gallery, he has beautiful photos). But I love swans otherwise too. (Well actually, I love all birds. A lot.)

You've managed to achieve an amazing richness of colour, I wouldn't have guessed it's watercolour. Great use of complimentary colours for the highlight of the beak and eye.

THanks you! This picture seems to be confusing people. I guess it's because it's not so common to paint such a dark tones with watercolor.
