Made with DeviantArt muroThe first page of my latest crossover comic focusing on several of my favorite fictional characters (and some of my OCs).
We have Venus de Milo of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles host a meeting of the Unlikely Successful Misfits club, a group of people who, like her, used to be ostracized before gaining the acceptance of their peers and achieving great things.
She inaugurates the Seven Little Monsters (One, Two, Three, Four, Five, Six and Seven) as new members per the request of Franny K. Stein, and since I've finished catching up on the Seven Little Monsters cartoon a while back, I'm now ready to explore how the monsters' lives have changed lately (especially since it's been about 20 years since the PBS Kids show ended production). This makes the seven monsters the first new recruits for the USM since Franny K. Stein to neither be a Cartoon Network or Nickelodeon character nor one of my original characters.
Another major development is that Jenny Wakeman and her husband Sheldon Lee (I'm sorry to say that I don't ship Jenny with Brad, plus the creators made it clear that Jenny's relationship with Brad Carbunkle is entirely platonic) have adopted a new robot son named Flywheel, who has yet to be explained connections to Jenny's enemy Vexus because I was inspired to come up with Flywheel from reading the Geoff Johns Superman story Last Son, which had Superman and Lois Lane briefly adopt General Zod's son Lor-Zod, also known as Christopher Kent and the third Superboy (with Kon-El being the second, Superman and Lois' biological son Jonathan Samuel Kent being the fourth and current Superboy and Superman in his adolescence being the original Superboy).
Franny points out to Venus that it's kind of obvious that Vexus created Jenny and Sheldon's adopted son as part of some scheme, but Venus points out that even if Flywheel truly is a creation of Vexus, they have zero proof that he's loyal to Vexus and that Franny should know from experience why it's important to wait a bit before taking action.
Unfortunately, there is also bad news to report, and Robot Electro Jones laments that not only do his rivals Lenny and Denny Yogman are still in business in spite of a lot of unacceptable things they have done, but they've also stooped to the low of spreading lies and rumors about Polyneux's current mayor Janine Blakesmith.
