Still another page of this year's New Year's comic.

Venus de Milo of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is grateful she's no longer a Black Lantern, but bemoans that the Wacky Adventures of Ronald McDonald incarnation of Hamburglar has become an Orange Lantern. The Green Lantern Hal Jordan assures her that other temporary Lantern Corps recruits besides Blue Lantern Scary Godmother and Star Sapphire Birdie the Early Bird are on their way.

The Metal Reaper gloats that there's no chance for the heroes to win as he and the Wacky Adventures villains Professor Thaddeus J. Pinchworm, One-Eyed Sally the Pirate and Stiles sing a sinister take-off of Do You Believe in Magic by The Lovin' Spoonful, in what is the first time I actually go through with covering the entire song.

As the song is sung, Pinchworm gets Black Lantern Franny K. Stein to back off by threatening her dog Igor, One-Eyed Sally threatens Venus with tickle torture and Stiles is oblivious of Birdie mocking him behind his back while Scary Godmother uses her blue ring to restrain Hamburglar until they have a chance to free him of the orange ring's influence.

Wacky Adventures Ronald addresses that the villains are outnumbered, the heroes who have become Black Lanterns are still doing their best to only cause harm to the villains and that those same Black Lanterns only need to endure until they're cured of the influence of the black rings and made living beings again.

Pinchworm and One-Eyed Sally continue singing to try and crush Venus's hopes that the good guys will win once more.
