Remember folks that Akuma is good bringing the pain but not good receiving it, also Zangief has the Banishing Flat and Akuma has to get close to make his best moves because he can't spawn the hadouken all the time because with the banishing flat Zangief gains movement by attacking, Akuma is in need to get close and therefore expose himself against the piledrivers of Zangief, i won't deny Akuma is very strong but he has to remain in offensive and despise everything he is by far not the best character when it comes to offensive...
