Most of the multiplayer characters are Templars.
THe hunter is a Templar, and so is the jester guy... WHatever he is...
THe courtesan is a Templar too.

The courtesan is a multiplayer character, and the multiplayer is a Templar training program.
So, the Courtesan is a Templar. In training.
