It's really odd, some of my most favorite drawings are doodled in class, they might not be the most finished or best looking, but there is a sort of creative part that comes out when you are casually doodling.
I really love the expression and concept of the creatures, amazing work!

I LOVE this! I have a friend who has to draw in class to focus, too. Our teacher would take away her paper, and then she could NOT focus. At all.

Are you also able to listen/learn better when doing something with your hands? I find that I can pay better attention if I shut up my brain with an activity while someone is talking.
Edit: Though... they don't normally appreciate my apparent distraction.

Yeah I get bored during class a lot of the times, especially History because all it is is lectures.
And I agree, that's why most of my drawings come from History class because I listen to it while doodling and it helps me learn a lot more.
I've only ever had one teacher "Appreciate" my "doodling diversions" As I would call it. And they were just an awesome teacher
