whew. So yeah, I randomly made a Sonic the Hedgehog animation. I'm still...not entirely sure why, but anywhere, here it is. It will probably require FULL VIEW as DAv4 is crap and keeps giving me red boxes of the X-ular variety.So...mmm. It was nice to just animate some pure action, and at a small size. The RAW is 320x240, but gifs that size always cause massive slowdown and are absurd file sizes.
And yes, it probably does remind you of Dragonball Z.
*well, this animation certainly keeps getting hits! blimey*

Frame by frame animation, created in any good software that offers layers and manipulating the transparency to draw each frame over the top. Then assembled as a .gif in any number of good Gif Creators, however I used Gif Movie Gear these days.

Awesome, I've finally been able to find this animation!
For one, the framerate is very smooth, the action that happens is at an active and quick pace. There's a bunch of detail in things like the explosion animations and the flashes that were put inwhen a punch is thrown or when we're put in a different scene. I adore the style of it, too!
The only think that's kind of irking me is Metal Shadow's body in some places. Maybe it's just me, but in my opinion, the robot's belly (and sometimes legs) is not very porportional to its head, and seems a bit funny to look at.
But overall, great animation!
