Description
So I have done quite a lot of Bloodtingue oriented weapons but only two arcane. As a consequence, here is my arcane only post.Washing Pole:
Along with Ludwig, Siegford was Gerhman's favorite apprentice. Both were comrades in battles and rivals in training. Siegford didn't have an affinity for trick weapons and created this awfully long katana with for only asset an extendable handle. He considered tricks to be cowardly and would constantly use the art of quickening to get close to his prey and slice it. In fact he was so skilled at this that the remain of his body could easily inspire any new hunter in quickening.
This katana asked for both incredible stenght and dexterity and it was said that Siegford was the most skilled hunter to ever participate to the hunt.
Yet, a jealousy arouse between the two chosen apprentices and a fight was unavoidable.
Although Siegford's skills were greater, Ludwig's weapon was more durable and resilient. The katana shattered and the fight was over in the blink of an eye. Who started it remains a mystery but every evidence of Ludwig's rival existence were destroyed afterwards.
It is said that if someone was brave enought to discover and explore the ever-ligthninig-struck mansion of Archibald the outcast, deep within he would find an extremely quick corpse moving thanks to electricity and wielding a broken katana. Of course, this is but a urban legend to be proved.
One wielding this broken katana uses it very quickly. This is the counterpart of the cursed Chikage and it relies on Arcane. Everytime one presses L1, the katana is seathed and is reforged in exchange for 1 quicksilver bullet. The katana has 10 succesful hits before getting broken again. When this happens it is forcefully reseathed. Asa consequence, this weapon has a particular gimmick. When L1 is pressed it can be maintained as long as one deems necessary. When released it delivers a powerful blow of the blade (reforged or not) followed by a blow of the scabbard. This can sometime stun the foe if in the middle of an attack.
Before the katana is broken, one can press L2 to throw the remains of the bullet used to reforge it at the opponnent. This instantly breal the katana.
Washing Pole can be reforged as long as one has quicksilver bullets to use.
Great Bastard's Coffin:
Before being known for his irrevency, Izzy was a reknown beast hunter. When this dark beast was born , hundreds of hunters tried to kill it. Unsuccesful, they call Izzy to solve this mystery. For years Izzy tried to kill the caged beast but he met no more success than his pairs. After a while, a respectful relationship arose between the two beings. A kind of Stockholm's syndrom in which god knows who is the captive and who is the captor.
Izzy became obsessed with beast and sought their power. He wanted to become a beast like his caged friend was. But when one is conscious of the beast within, he is least likely to turn into one.
Izzy became an outcast and never did his duty regarding this atrocious coffin/cage.
Of course Izzy was friend with the beast inside the coffin. But you are not. So be cautious.
When the coffin is chained, one carries it and fight as he would with logarius' wheel. Smashing it around. Each hit excites the beast inside and a "roar" can be heard. This makes the foe hesitant.
When unchained, one doesn't want to be close the coffin. Else he would lose an arm ora leg. He uses the chain to smash the foes while the beast inside is all claws, fangs and tentacles for anything close by. When L2 is pressed, one takes the coffin and presses it against his chest. The beast becomes angry and attacks everything in front of itself.
Exploration Galley Row:
When texts mentioning Loran were found in the deep ruins below Byrgenwerth, a galley was sent to find this holy forgotten land. This galley was full of rows and of slaves rowing them. But the after several month the galley was not heard of and every hope was lost. Yet, years later it came back rowing... Only no-one was inside.
This row is weirdly found in the Nightare Frontier as to indicate this was once Loran.
In the east there is a weapon called Eku which was originally a row oar. This is the way one uses it one-handed. When two-handed, this is too heavy for anyone to wield. Yet, the etheral hands of dead slaves keep on rowing helping one to swing it around easily.
When L2 is pressed, one pull the row back and it comes back smashind everthing in front of it. (Doesn't consume a bullet).
Penance Chime:
Anyone on penance carries this chime around the city. Its sound indicates that a sinner is close by. This can be used as a resonnating mace. When two-handed, it becomes a yole that ashames the wielder and deprives him from hands-moves. Yet it makes for a powerful anti-beast weapons as the incense thro them back. It is also powerful against great ons thanks to the bell.
Also, one looks like a dancer when rotating these heavy chunks of metal around.
Waste of Time:
One can choose to be a waste in this wolrd. When he does so he is offered this useless inefficient unfinished club. But after taking care of it so much, after getting used to it, after making it a better weapon, one becomes attached to it. A hunter is refined by time. And so is this weapon which as different stats and forms as it is enhanced by blood stone.
At first a waste of your time, this non-trick weapon cannot transform. After a certain while, it can become an arcane staff used to activate blood explosion (think of Logarius to see what I mean).
The club has a blood stone inside that is revealed when transformed. It glows with a red light and can make explosions.
When L2 is pressed, a homing blood missile is sent toward the ennemy.
Any hunter was a waste before becoming worth it. Anyone wielding this shameful weapon proves he knows what it takes to become a hunter.
Mandrake Root Club:
Deep in the ruins of the Ptumerian city grows a plant that is alive. When held by its root, it is a decent club. Plus it looks like an adorable white-skinned puppet. If an entire tree was found one could carve a living doll out off it. But when held by the leaves, it transforms into something horribly ugly and scream so high it hurts any one around. The hunter is used to it by now... Almost deaf he can take it but his ennemies...
Yup... I am running out of ideas for those.

Thanks !
I think the mandrake sucks and would be better as a hunter arcane item that leaves your character and the surrounding foes paralyzed for a short time.
But this is by far the batch of weapons I am the most satisfied with. Especially the Washing Pole, the Chime and the Row. I think they are really original.
I got new designs coming. One of them is the improved bastard coffin. Would be a chest you smash around with every blow making a roar.
Transformed you put it on your head and it's a mimic from DS 1. XD
I want to do a suitcase weapon (like a spy) with a lot of trick weapons that comes out of it. But none of my designs feel right for this one.
I am also thinking of redesigning some of the concepts a bit. And do them with better art.
I wish I could paint my concepts as good as you do. Unfortunately, I am better at cartoon coloring for now. Will get better eventually.
I absolutely adore your art style and the fleshreaver ! Such a nice concept ! I want your weapons in Bloodborne to be honnest !
I have been looking at your work for a long time and you inspired my creating bloodborne weapons. Which was my come-back on DA.
Also, I cannot believe I wasn't watching you already !!! Heresy !!! This is a mistake that I fixed right this instant.
Also, Starlighter should have been in the base game. I cannot believe they had no arcane alternative for guns in order to parry. Makes no sense.
Your last designs are astonishing. You're right. The game lacks in arcane weapons.
The Gillian Fists could be used to punch the ground in order to project your hunter forward (like a gorilla). I've been trying to find the right design for that idea for a long time now. Gillian Fists are exactly what I had in mind. Although I wanted mine steam powered instead of rocket.
The bone of Morius is really cool too ! Although, it has no potential for attack in shield mode. With is a waste in my opinion.
And the design of the Silverlight is gorgeous and elegant. But are two forms two handed ? Or is the twinblade form single-handed ?
It's been a long text. Thanks for reading all that.
But you really are a big inspiration for these weapons. So I wanted to make that clear. XD

Haha, woah, such a long comment. Your weapon ideas are all very unique and definitely fits the bloodborne world and your art is already looking really awesome, and they are just sketches. I'm just copying bloodborne's art style and add abit of mine into it. Take your time and don't worry so much dude. Art takes time to grow. I'm still learning from other artists too.
And you've inspired me with all your weapon concepts , and thanks for that.
I think the mandrake is a cool idea, why say it sucks lol, who wouldn't want a screaming mandrake that you can whack enemies with. I think its better off as a weapon, I want to be able to carry the mandrake. This reminds me of the pan's labyrinth mandrake root that feeds on blood.
The Gillian Fists is something like boomhammer + stakedriver. powered by gunpower of the QS bullet or something like that. I want something that punches hard and staggers mostly everyone. The bone of morius idea actually is just a piece of shield but I feel there's too little uniqueness it in so why not a shielded weapon instead. maybe in shield form you can throw your shield to the enemy and bounces back. haha, captain america. and yea, silverlight is a two handed weapon in both forms.
Souls games are too awesome T-T

Well, the mandrake sounds like a very interesting concept but would simply be really lame in term of gameplay.
I cannot think of a good moveset for it.
But as a left-hand weapon or an item, it could be an asset. That would make up for the lack of them too.
Captain America in Bloodborne XD. Maybe simply adding a blade to its shield form would do the trick.
Souls game are the best ! No contest !

Thanks ! I like the idea too of using a chain to smash things around.
Btw, if you like that you can check my Bloodborne Boss fight lineart out :

It is not in color for now. But I will most likely paint it on day.

Washing Pole: yup that weapon should have existed in Bloodborne, I love the idea of the weapon getting reforged after getting seathed
Waste of Time: I wish every weapons in Bloodborne would transform after each upgrades
Mandrake Root Club: we do need a living weapon in Bloodborne

Yup... I use the "living" and the "not entirely in our dimension" weapon a lot when it comes to Arcane. I have used them a lot in part 1 & part 4.
I think that the 3 most iconic weapons of the Souls series are the Moonlight Greatsword, Artorias' sword and the Washing Pole. So... when I created a super long katana, I came up with this very original name. XD
The concept of the waste of time is tought to be unique in the game. You find it, read the description, try to use it, it doesn't transform and it is lame. But if you invest time and echoes, it becomes a bad-ass weapon. Also, the weapon is only given to people to begin the game as "the waste".
Every trick weapon was created though sucess and failure. This is your very own weapon.
Also this weapon goes well with the wooden shield. ^^
Glad you liked it.

yup I like it alot X3
since you're running out of ideas try to make firearms, I was thinking of a gatling gun but of course that requires 500 or more quicksilver bullets XD

Hahaha! Yeah... When I saw the official art of Djura, he is shown with the gatling. I thought it would be so OP. But of course, gameplay-wise it is unusable.
Well, I try to describe some left-hand weapons in the flavor text of most weapon (like the poison atomizer, the grenade launcher & the firework thrower) but the thing is I am terrible at drawing guns (and cars). ^^

of course when I saw Djura on the screenshot while the game was coming soon I thought he was carrying a gatling gun. d'aaawww I see you're only good at drawing close ranged weapons
