If there is a third Trolls Movie then I think Creek deserves to be in it and deserves a redemption arc, like, why not, every other bad guy in animation seems to get one these days no matter how awful their evil deads were (Looking at you Diamonds)

So here's the thing. Its weird that the trolls befriend the Bergens at the end of the first troll movie. These ugly ogre-esque things have spent years eating trolls, and not even as a legit food source. Certainly youd think King Peppy, a troll from an older time and who probably lived through the Bergan holiday for eating trolls many times, and Branch, who lost his grandma right in front of his eyes, would be too traumatized to go for this idea. As hard as it is to imagine how likely a friendship can be between trolls and troll eating creeps, there is a benefit to it. i would call it a strategy but that would imply that strategic thought was put into it--teaching Bergens how to obtain happiness and value friendship means they wont be hunting little trolls anymore. but you'd have to forgive them in order for the friendship to be genuine.

Now Creek was okay, he was not a jerk or anything like that as far as I could tell, but when he thought he was going to die, he betrayed his people to save himself with no real insurance that Chef Ugly would keep her word. But as someone who's watched countless scary movie reviews, i can tell you that when people are desperate enough to keep from dying a horrible death, they will do terrible awful things, thats called self preservation, and it surprises you that this happens with nice characters that you would swear could never do such a thing. Its not right or excusable, but at least we know why Creek did what he did.

Barb, on the other hand didnt have a good reason to do anything she did. She kidnapped other trolls, wanted to enslave them, DESTROYED their homes on a massive scale, blamed poppy for destroying music when it was actually all her own damn fault, she nearly killed or at least almost horribly injured King Trollex when she aimed her magic guitar strike at him. She never takes a moment to think about the terrible things she did, she nevers says shes sorry, she never says she's going to help repair all the damage she did, so she didnt even have any kind of redemption and she gets instant forgiveness by everyone.

So why cant Creek be forgiven and given a second chance when literally everyone else who's bad in the Trolls world gets one?
