This is a exclusive batch! Only members of this group may enter the Write-to-adopt post here!
CLOSED ALL MONS HERE ARE TAKEN.
A write to adopt post? Yes you read right this adopt batch is specifically made for members who cannot afford to buy adopts and their natural forte is... you guessed it. Writing! But a few rules come along with a certain adopt batch like this so please do understand and read everything on the post before you attempt to do anything!
Rules
-This is not first come first serve. It's a little contest being held for the best description the artist can give the character they wish to enter for.
-You MUST have a slot open or an adopt slot open to enter! (I will be checking :3)
-You may only enter TWO of the four writing comments to possibly win the adopt.
-Please don't heckle the people who won the adopt. If I hear about this I'll make sure to add you to my blacklist.
-Please give the adopt a good home! I'd hate to see an OC collect dust.
-Please tag me in the first doodle you make of them as credit to the artist!
-Include the codeword 'Guava' somewhere so I know you've read everything!

Name: Shinigami
Age: Teenager (~14 Human years)
Personality:
· “I’m a little bit of everything.”
When Shinigami says this, he is not being conceited, or egotistical. He just means that he is a well-balanced person. Whether it comes to his attacks, strategies, or perhaps he means that when he has meditated a bit, when he is ‘centered’ everything works out better for him. This is true, as he tries not to show too much of just one emotion, in worry that perhaps his empathy will kick in and cause his emotions to go out of control. He tries to stay balanced well but being a young teenager sometimes this is a hard task for him.
· “This allows me to observe.”
Having a calm mind and a sound body is one way he makes sure that he isn’t doing something stupid during a fight, if he must fight. This helps him keep himself observative and patient when in battle and makes it easier for him to get a good inkling on what his opponent is doing or thinking. Not only this, but this also helps him when it comes to an emergency, like if a natural disaster hit, he would be able to help those that are panicking to get through it. This is one of his admirable traits Shinigami has.
· “You don’t have to tell me how you feel, I know already.”
He can’t pick up subtle emotions, whatever a person is feeling the strongest is the emotion that he is able to detect. He is more apt to approach someone if they have a strong fear or strong joy. Happiness brings him out of his shell a bit and to interact more than he normally would. Fear only has him come out to offer a little bit of comfort before going back to his reserved state. His empathy can help, but sometimes it also hurts him, can cause him to panic, lose his balance, and uncenter himself.
· “I may be young, but I still have wisdom.”
Shinigami is a little on the young side, but sometimes he talks as if he has seen many events happen from the past. Shinigami prides himself in his intelligence which also helps him in combat, or to stay away from a pokemon or human. He is aware that people dislike absol’s and see them as disaster creatures, and he is also aware that Ralts don’t normally approach a person unless they are feeling joy. This helps him decide on the course of action he should take and what he should do.
· “Opening up only lets others hurt you.”
As if it’s a desperate cry for attention, for love and friendship, Shinigami keeps to himself a lot of the times. He doesn’t like to fight and prefers to stay in the background as the brains of any operation. He doesn’t do well to pokemon to pokemon contact, or human to pokemon for that matter. He tries to keep how he is feeling a secret and believes that he doesn’t need to tell others if he’s feeling depressed, angry, or happy. Though he won’t com out and admit it, he is desperately seeking friends and acceptance from others.
· “Keep it up, I’m not giving up!”
Shinigami doesn’t give up easily, he is adamant on his values, beliefs, and when it comes to combat, if he must engage, he doesn’t stay down easily. He normally doesn’t fight, nor does he argue much, but if it’s a choice between safety and harm, and he is aware of it, he will be as adamant as he can. He would much prefer it if he is the only one in danger or getting hurt instead of a whole group or younger pokemon. Shinigami will butt-heads with other Adamant pokemon, or those that are headstrong or stubborn.

Meaning you have to have a slot open for this Write-to-adopt fusion as you enter. It either being a purchasable slot and or an adopt slot and you have already used up your bought slot and adopt slot. Eris Guava

Optimistic
The world is a beautiful place full of beautiful people and beautiful pokemon. Eris seems to see the bright side of things, though she isn't the sickeningly sweet ‘nothing is ever wrong’ type. Rather she always walks with a bounce in her step and a smile on her face. She tries to please everyone and spread the happiness she feels inside every day, with varying levels of success and openness to the sentiment.
Playful
Eris loves to play. Children, adults, alone-Eris is always rearing to milk the most fun out of her days. When someone is down she especially pesters them until they smile and play with her, her puppy dog eyes often times working on the older pokemon and insistence on the younger. Her playful attitude can make even boring items and places fun, her imagination running wild much akin to a child. Dumpster? No it's a pirate ship. Scratching post? More like a diving board. Blanket? Everyone knows that's a cape.
Generous
Despite her habits to steal and likewise commit crimes Eris is a rather generous pokemon. In the lunchroom she passes on foods to those that are still hungry, offers her clothes to the cold, and has even given up her blanket to an ice type bunk mate that was particularly cold. In reality Eris has very few items that she keeps to herself, preferring to shower friends and allies with gifts than to fill a drawer with knick knacks.

Sporadic
Eris has a never ending need to be moving, sitting still just isn't an option. Simply doing coin tricks are enough to keep her at bay, but usually she directs her energy into far broader actions. This deep routed need leads to jumping topics and places constantly, which can annoy those that wish to spend time with her greatly. It is believed that these actions are from her salandit instincts to forage and collect food back to her ‘alpha’, the need to move and search constantly a primary part of her behaviour.
Curious
Always poking her head into caves and around corners, Eris has an ever nagging sense of curiosity. Her eyes light up at anything new, people, places, textures, colours-She wants to experience and thoroughly explore everything the world wants to throw at her. This can lead to her invading personal space and rummaging through things she really shouldn't however, it’s a good idea to keep things locked up around her if you want a private life.
Energetic
Even running on 1 hour of sleep Eris is ready to run laps around you. This is good because the commanders easily direct her away from trouble and into missions and useful tasks around the base. The bad stems from her spare time. She has a habit of running around and getting under foot(by accident) which adds to the chaos back at the base unintentionally.

Mischievous
She doesn't mean any harm (except when she is straight up stealing or otherwise for Team Rocket) but does enjoy pranks. Rarely are they anything that can cause any harm, but her naturally mischievous behaviour also leads into her habit of just taking things that aren't hers. A book here, a ring there-Most of the time she isn't even aware of it, other times she thinks it's all a part of a fun game.
Sensitive
Yelling at and insulting Eris quickly leads to pouting lips and watery eyes. She aims to please and takes any criticism or insults personally, often getting very hurt in the process. After this happens she often spends days on end sulking and pouting, often times re evaluating and changing her behaviour around those that hurt her. More skittish, more desperate to please, guilty-Or acting like nothing happened at all.
Cowardly
Her body is soft and sensitive, and real confrontation makes her run. Pain is really the only experience she never wants again, and therefore flees from battle. She far prefers distant blasts of fire and never face to face fist fights. However it does take a very harsh action to prove you mean business, and do indeed have intentions on harming her. Until then she acts like everything is fine, but will suddenly bolt off with metaphorical tails between her legs.

Name: Shadow
Age: Teenager (~14 Human years)
Personality:
· “What’s so funny?!”
Shadow isn’t one that understands certain thins easily. He is still young and is bound to make mistakes. He is naïve in nature and there are a few things, like adult conversations, that he doesn’t fully understand or get. When he feels like he’s left out, he’ll try to join the conversation, only to get embarrassed in return if someone laughs at him. His naivety shows in his combat practice as well, though despite being naïve, he doesn’t give up easily. Always willing to put himself in danger for those he has grown close to.
· “It’s not being conceited if it’s true.”
Okay so perhaps he may be a little smug in his confidence and power. Shadow knows that he isn’t the strongest in the world, he has made himself a goal to become stronger and beat the strongest in the hideout. Shadow, despite his goal, does have a high confidence in himself, his body, and his attacks. Sometimes this can lead him into battles he cannot win, which will leave him in the predicament of needing to get stronger. Sometimes his high confidence can rub off on those that have been around him long enough, boosting the low self-esteem some members may have.
· “Do you think I fear you? Hah!”
Despite his terrible attempts at taunts, Shadow has a high courage level. He doesn’t back down, which can also be being stubborn. He doesn’t fear anything, and that is both a good and bad thing. He doesn’t understand fear, just the desire to help defend the things he seems as precious to him and not wanting to give up easily. It takes a lot just to keep him ‘knocked’ down. Though he does indeed fear some things, strong storms, and high winds are among his list of fears. But he will try to hide his own faults to be strong for those who are weaker than him.
· “I will guard those precious to me. You’ll have to rip through me first!”
Shadow is very possessive of things that is close to him, this comes from his treecko half, being the defenders of the trees. He will grow protective of his friends and territory quickly, willing to attack anything that threatens those close to him. Shadow does not give up, he does not fear, and being a protector only makes those traits of his even higher. His opponent will have to knock him out, or KO him to get past him, cause if he can still twitch a finger, you better be sure he’ll be back in his opponent’s face.
· “This is MINE!”
Another small quick of his, Shadow has a problem with being possessive of other Pokémon or items that he claims as his own. This can lead to people finding him annoying, or being just a jerk at times, but this is not the case. Being naïve as he is, he still has issues sometimes going through and not claiming things as his. He has gotten better since his childhood, but if there’s something he desires, say like a piece of cake, he will claim that cake and throw a tantrum later if it gone. This is a tolerable personality as if he is told no by an adult, or a higher up, he will sulk a bit, but he will get over it quickly. However, if another bronze rank comes into the picture, there may be an encounter.
· “I’ll do things my way.”
Not one to take help from others often, or to fully listen to the rules, Shadow likes to walk his own path, he tries to stay within the rules, but sometimes they may get bent a little. He has a need to go out on his own path, to search for an answer to his question, to find his purpose. However, when it comes to battling he also prefers to be alone, he doesn’t mind if others help, if they stay out of his way and away from him and his opponent. This can get troublesome, cause even if he’s doing a hard task around the base, he won’t ask for the help that he may need.

Name: Soundwave
Personality: Soundwave is mostly a neutral pokemon, not many things catch his interest and he's more of the laid back type. Preferring to watch things play out before him and as such, many think he's a stick in the mud. In truth, he just feels more useful being the eyes up above to make sure things are going swimmingly rather than possibly being one of the many paws on the ground that could trip and botch a entire mission. To those he gets close to, they will find a intelligent and focused individual. When he does interfere, he is very determined. Almost as if a switch is pulled in his mind, he puts it into high gear and works as hard as he can. However this does cause him to overdue it at times, resulting in him either causing the fumble he wishes to avoid, make the fumble worse, or just become useless.
This causes him to be overly critical of himself, he's harsh on himself more than anyone. Often taking the blame if he has partaken in a mission that has gone wrong. If others were involved, he will try to encourage them or just cheer them up. Laughter is the best medicine after all. If one is happy, they can ignore their mistakes right? Well normal mons can in his mind. In all honesty, he's often struggling with his own thoughts. Self doubts looming in his head that keep him in his laid back ways. Hoping that if he just pretends to enjoy life that he can be happy like everyone else. Sadly this is just him tricking himself in the worst way he can. As it just feeds his self doubts and deeper fears of only being a disappointment to everyone. After all, he left the pride to avoid being a disappointment to his powerful mother. Becoming one here is not in his agenda. Also 'GUAVA' is a fruit he's not fond of, it has a bitter taste.

I loved the approach of Soundwave having a more personal and deep emotional and mental struggle of just trying to be the best recruit he can be but doubts himself over the smallest of mistakes because of inexperience and the harsh world around him! It makes it clear a goal of his will have to open up to believe in himself more and wanting to be stronger in a more of a mental way instead of physical.
