I wanted to represent my most favourite rapper in the whole wide world in some way... so I used a program I know almost nothing about!
Yeah, I'm slowly but surely learning how to use Adobe Illustrator because, believe it or not, I want to get serious about vector art.
It's a simple piece but I still like it

It's cool and all, but I honestly think the gradient kills it. Gradients just feel too quick and cheap.

this is the first piece of honest, conctructive criticism i have gotten since i joined DA. thank you so much!
the reason for the ugly gradient is because i didn't really know what i was doing in Illustrator, haha (it probably shouldn't be a featured deviation). doing vectors in Photoshop doesn't seem "real" to me for some reason so i am currently learning how to use Freehand MX and Illustrator CS. obviously, i still have alot to learn lol.
