Your coloring compliments *gsdark's work beautifully. I'd almost say not to add highlights.

Synergy baby, I see synergy.

yeah I played around with highlights yesterday and I like it better without, there's already so much light areas in it and it's supposed to be rather "dark".

This is really cool! You should add a lighter color to the shading ^_^

The shine on her garter is a bit overkill, and the blood looks like it's spraying off of the knife- even though the knife is stationary.

Other than that it's good. The shading's well done, and it was an unusual choice to have the skin tone blend into the background, but not a bad choice. It turned out well.

yeah, I kinda based my coloring style off of another person here on dA and I liked the shiny, but in this piece you're probably right. The spray effect is cause when I colored it I was imagining her moving. But I accept your criticism with gratitude. Sometimes I forget people can't read my mind.

The piece is pretty stationary- her hair's just sitting there, as are her clothes. It'd be hard to show movement in that picture...

You must not watch the cartoons I watch lol.

The ones where they over-starch their clothes and pile layers of hairspray so that they could be caught ina tornado and the outfit/hair wouldn't move? What channel's that on? They could make it into a reality TV show.

And I don't really give critique based on cartoons so much as reality. I like realism.
