"Beautiful! I'll call this 'Game Over.'"--the photographer in The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX
In The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX, when you go into the Camera Shop for the first time, the photographer will ask if he can take a picture of Link for your photo album. If you say no and keep refusing no matter how much the photographer insists, he'll eventually push Link against the back wall and snap him while he's down, resulting in this cute and funny picture . I thought it would be an amusing addition to my Poor Link fan art series and so I drew it. The original photo from the game is sepia-toned, and so I used the game's overworld and official artwork as references for the colors in this.
Why oh why didn't they include the Camera Shop in the new Link's Awakening? I bet the pictures, especially this one, would have looked adorable in the new style!

It's similar to the Oracle games--in fact, they're all on the same platforms (Game Boy Color and 3DS). It's really fun.

I remember that sidequest so well. Not important to the story, yet very fun. I usually got this photo as the main one cause it's so funny the way Link looks, and the way the photographer just pushes him around and takes the photo against his will
