A bit about this foal

Name: Rainbow of Light
Nickname: Rainbow
Gender: None at the moment. They're a baby
Species: Alicorn, horse
Physical: 3 sets of wings, 2 horns, has the physic of an ancient alicorn body; born a horse, big, feathers all over the body, cloven hooves, lion tail
Parents: Technically the mane 6 but Spike's the one that raises them.
Age: a couple months old
Born: in Sweet Apple Acres on a hill
Lives: With Spike and their aunt and cousin in the Crystal Empire

How they were born:
First, I should say that in this AU the mane 6 end up in a polyamorous relationship but never have kids. They just grow old together. Also since Spike's a dragon, he age's really slow. So, by the time the girls are old and wrinkly, he's a young adult.
Alright so, the girls decide that they want to have a picnic up in Sweet Apple Acres. They gather up all their stuff and head on up there. Spike tags along because he wants to. So, they're up there on a hill, next to a tree just chillin', eatin' some food. Spike's snozzin' under the tree. After finishing up their food they start to wind down and cuddle up, watch the sunset together. They all go in for a hug and as they're hugin' a bright light starts to show in the middle of their hug circle. It grows brighter and brighter, until the glow completely engulfs the 6. By this time Spikes woken up 'cause WOW it got bright real fast, why'd that happen. A huge rainbow shoots out of the bright light and begins to encircle it until it has completely surrounded the light, then it starts to compress and get smaller until the rainbow is pony sized. It stays like that for a moment and then BOOM, it explodes outward, kind of like a rainboom but not. After a couple of moments spike uncurls from behind the tree and looks around like what just happened. He then looks to where the girls once were and in their place he finds a foal. A full grown pony sized foal. (remember ponys are small. a full grown pony is the same size as a horse foal.) So, Spike takes the foal to Cadance (alicorns have an extended life span that's why she's still alive) and asks her very calmly "WHAT DO I DO WITH THIS!?!??!?" whilst shoving the foal in her face. And so Cadance helps Spike raise the the weird fusion spawn of the mane 6.

Also they were born with a cutie mark just because. I don't have an answer for that, lol (yes the name and cutie mark were taken from the G1 Rainbow of Light. i'm debating whether or not i should give them the red heart locket or not)
